Just a pointless piece of drivel . No real story but goes down the same path as lots of his films seems to.

The pace is so slow and completely silly in every way . What it was trying to say just fell flat and became tedious to watch . These reviews ask for a chunk of words for it , that's a struggle Why some have given it a good score when nothing really happened at any pace and the ending was so obvious. Sure people better than me will say lots of deeper meanings of society and what reflected but NO Just boring , a similar idea is the film the Box . Much better and far more interesting and put together. Some recommend watch "The Box " instead.

Every second of this film is pure quality. Firstly it's a good story well thought out . The richness of the way it's filmed and the colours .

It's a thriller with with atmosphere and edge with characters believable in that era .

Russell Crow's performance is pure tension all the way through ( he lives at an edge ) Guy Pierce is the smooth intelligent thinker .

I've watched this film so many times but not for a long time and it still does everything in tension , atmosphere and just a great film at every level .

So many good actors that make a fantastic quality film that will always be one of the best Police realistic police thriller's.

When it starts you really can't figure what's about to happen , but you know it's something interesting.

This is just an enjoyable adventure on similar lines to John Wick , but done with a sense of black fun

The film takes a different turn at around 30mins when he takes a bus ride , then you'll know what the films about . After that it never stops with the none stop action .

Great characters and great stunts , it's just a film I can watch if I want to smile and just sit back and enjoy .

This is not a film to move the world in or think about . It is a film to sit back with a bit of excitement for the good guy and just enjoy .
