Once there, Jack establishes himself by winning a fight against "Dum-Dum" Pete, the toughest man in those parts. Along the way he sees to it that a needed operation is performed on the camp's mascot, a crippled young boy, and saves his sweetheart, Marie O'Nei, that daughter of a rival lumber company, from drowning in the river when the spring thaw causes an ice-break flood.

Toni Hofer and brothers Vicki and Nicki Mahler are working on a new operetta. Toni's reputation with women equals his fame as composer, so they keep their sister Hedi away from him. Wanting to know him, she calls at his house in the middle of the night not revealing her identity, helps him write the main waltz theme and disappears, leaving him incapable of remembering his greatest melody. Sammy can't get any attention from his girlfriend Dot because all she can think of is Charlie Chaplin. She sends Chaplin an enticing letter and Sammy a rejection, but the two get mixed up, so Sammy dresses up like Chaplin. unfortunately the decomposing film crashes at that point.

Ham and Bud fall victims to Norma, but they run afoul of hubby, six foot two and big and broad. Hubby seeks revenge but Ham and Bud are fleet of foot. So a plan is concocted by which Ham is induced to put on the gloves in a finish bout with the Masked Marvel. Ham and Bud believe in preparedness, so they examine the stage beforehand and find a trap door under one of the corners, through which, it is arranged, Bud will slip Ham a glove loaded with a brick. Ham almost quits when the Marvel removes his mask and is disclosed to be the wrathful hubby. But he manages to live through the first round and is all set for the big plan when the Marvel forces him to exchange corners. Bud, unsuspecting, slips the loaded glove on the Marvel's hand. What happens to Ham is too sad to tell, but it makes a funny finish for this one-reel comedy.

A frivolous middle-aged socialite is suddenly put upon to have her daughter live with her. Her conniving paramour dumps her for her daughter, leaving her young boyfriend crushed.

Shane O'Mealia leaves Ireland promising to send for his sweetheart Moyna. In the meantime, the son of the old lady she lives with takes them back to America without telling Shane, who then must explain to them about a girl he's been seeing in New York.
