Series - Boston Blackie

Boston Blackie, a gentleman crook, and his accomplice, Mary, plan to rob the Wilmerding mansion while Mr. Wilmerding is out of town. Mary is hired as a nurse to Martin Wilmerding, Jr., and after Mrs. Wilmerding has gone to a ball, she admits Blackie, who starts to open the safe. Just then little Martin enters, and he and Blackie play and become fast friends. Mrs. Wilmerding returns with her lover, Donald Lavalle, and when Blackie overhears their plans to elope together with her jewels, he tricks Donald into giving him the jewels by posing as the jealous husband. Through several telegrams, he effects the reconciliation of his little pal's parents but cannot decide whether or not to return the jewels.

Gentleman crook Boston Blackie answers a want ad for an expert safe cracker placed by Doris Macon, who claims a moral right to the safe's contents. She hires Blackie, and they break into the house where the safe is kept. Blackie blows up the safe just as owner Captain von Hoffmeier returns home. Doris disappears with papers from inside the safe, while Blackie takes phonograph records, which, when played with a special needle, reveal secrets that implicate von Hoffmeier as a German political spy. Doris is actually the girl friend of a secret service man who has followed them to the house. Blackie's talents are praised, and he goes to work for the government.

Shrewd crook Boston Blackie is determined to go straight. At a celebration held on the eve of his marriage to Mary Dawson, Fred the Count plants a stolen jewel and Blackie is arrested and sentenced to twenty years in jail. Fred the Count tries to win Blackie's fiancée, but the honorable Mary rejects him. Blackie's only hope for escape is from the hospital, so he manages to get into a weakened state. He escapes from the hospital, but is trailed by the warden. Blackie refuses to shoot the defenseless man, and the warden recognizes Blackie as an honorable person and allows him to escape. Blackie frames the Count, and leaves for Honolulu with Mary.

A girl seeks revenge after a Wall Street broker had falsely accused her father and sent him unjustly to prison.

Boston Blackie Dawson gets some jewels that belonged to the imperial family of Russia. A gang of terrorists is after the jewels.

Boston Blackie, just released from prison, threatens the warden, Benton, that he will have him removed from his job for using the water cross, a form of torture, on prisoners. Blackie's sweetheart, Mary Carter, helps him avoid this torture after his return to prison. The officers pursue Blackie, capture him, and bring him back to Benton, but Mary reports to the governor, and they arrive in time to save Blackie from further torments by bringing his pardon. Benton is fired.

Reformed criminal Boston Blackie is outraged when a judge refuses to grant a pardon for a dying friend. He hires Norine, his now-dead friend's daughter, to get to the judge through his son Rudy. However, things don't work out quite as Blackie had planned.

During a rebellion of prisoners at the San Quentin State Prison, Boston Blackie makes a lightning escape aided by Mary McGinn while chased prison guards.

Just out of jail and vowing to go straight, gentleman crook Boston Blackie (played by Raymond Glenn) undertakes the reformation of a pretty blonde (played by Corliss Palmer), who has stolen a necklace from a cabaret dancer (played by Rosemary Cooper). When he learns that the jewels belong to the girl's philandering father, Boston Blackie saves the day by performing one last job: replacing the necklace in its owner's safe.

When a murder occurs on an ocean liner docked in New York, the trail leads to Coney Island and a spy ring.

Blackie is accused of murdering a man at an art auction, which leads to the uncovering of an art racket.

Boston Blackie and his pal, The Runt, are ready to board a train for Florida when Blackie gets a telegram from his friend Arthur Manleder asking Blackie to go to Manleder's New York apartment, get $60,000 from a wall safe and fly to Hollywood. Blackie has just removed the money when Police Inspector Farraday and his assistant, Sergeant Matthews arrive and accuse him of robbery. They let him escape so they can follow as they think he knows something about the stolen Monterey Diamond. Blackie arrives in Hollywood and learns that Manleder has fallen for Gloria Lane, in cahoots with a gang of crooks, and had been holding the missing diamond in trust for the owner. Gloria had asked Arthur to let her wear the diamond and it was stolen. Two gangsters had appeared at the apartment and offered to recover the diamond for $60,000, which had prompted the telegram to Blackie. The two crooks also steal the money from The Runt. Blackie's plan to catch the crooks and recover the money and the diamond goes awry when another crook, Slick Barton, steals both from his two crook pals. Farraday and Matthews now arrive and accuse Blackie of both thefts.

Blackie is arrested when retrieving stolen gems from a safety deposit box for a friend.
