A student, a railway worker and a peasant go on a trip to the Julian Alps and meet people on their way.

Miha invites his fiancée Minka to the dance, but he's tempted by another big desire of his - climbing. Frustrated Minka insists on the festivity, where she finds herself in a company of older hiker. However, all ends happily, as Minka and Miha, after many smaller adventures, meet at the top of Mount Triglav, where they sign the marriage contract, but also confirming their love for the mountains. In addition to its charming story, the movie features footage of picturesque Slovenian mountains.

Set in a small Slovenian village , it tells the story of its residents who lived under German occupation after the Italian defeat in 1943. While helping the partisans, the residents look forward to the upcoming liberation.

Despite all actions taken in attempt to conquer Trieste, Gestapo forces fail to do so. The surrender of Italian fascist state gives partisans an open way in seizing the power with the help of domicile population.

In an alpine valley lies an idyllic village. High up in the mountains, facing each others across live two men: a "good grandpa" and an "evil man". The first is herbe picker Kosobirin, the other Bedanec is a poacher. The latter has a girl servant Mojca who, one day, meeting Kosobrin, tells him of her difficult life. Although in great fear of Bedanc's revenge, the old man takes her with him. Unfortunatley, he does get caught by Bedanc, who ties him on tree. Kosobrin is freed by Kekec, young cheerful and brave boy. Bedanc catches him too but promises to let him go if he helps him find the "wretched girl" Mojca. Kekec refuses the deal. Kekec's father and a herdsman, looking for Kekec in mountains, find his bag and presume that he has been bushed down by an eagle. Bedanc grabs Kosobrin anew. Costumed by fear, Kosobrin loses consciounsess, while Bedanc runs away because he belives he has killed the man. Kekec appears and hauls the unconscious man across the rock wall. Bedanc is sneaking around, waiting to find the secret shaft leading to Kosobrin's cottage. Eventually he finds the shaft and begins to pull himself through... But there in the dark Kekec sets an owl on him, wich scares Bedanec terribly. He rushes out of the shaft, slips down and hangs in the air, over the abyss. When he gives a promise that he will never come back again, Kekec saves him. Indeed Bedanec sets his cottage on fire and leaves the country. Kekec returns to his village, where he is greeted cherfully by all the people.

A post-WW2 story about the village largely involved in wine-making business. The peasants who claimed possessions of lands, woods, and churches after communist party seized the power hold a party where a member of so-called reactionary forces (kulaks, clergy and Axis collaborators) tries to break in and stop it.

There are two stories in this movie. One treats the human side, the things happening to a man in a war, the pain and pressure on his nerves and courage and how he copes with everything in order for him to survive and not lose his sanity. The other story deals with the animal side, the things happening to a dog who gradually loses everything he knew and loved and is even faced with a threat to its existence itself. To survive the dog has to forget everything it was taught and hold dear, fear the man and its tricks and become wild and free again.

Composer and pianist Blaz Gaber lives only for his music and does not want to know anything about the outside world, where the war is raging. Upon his arrival from his poorly attended concert, he finds himself in prison for having stars drawn in his notebook by a little boy. A young illegal activist seeks refugee in the school, where the pupils hide his pistol inside the Gaber's piano. A German officer comes with his soldiers to find the hidden illegal, orders the school to be evacuated and takes the piano together with him on a train.

Peter is the dark brooding type. Leading a vacuous, shapeless life, he longs for the ideal woman, while at the same time, half heartedly continuing with his habitual girlfriend, Marusa , who is considerably older, a fact that Peter is quick to point out. As an ageing actress, struggling for parts in her local theatre, she oozes insecurity and breathes uncertainty. Together, they spend their time in the local restaurant, smoking, drinking and trading verbal blows. "I bet you'll just end up a drunk," she tells Peter each time. Peter just grins and tells her how old she looks. Compounded by a thankless director who soon shows her the door, Marusa finds her identity being squeezed harder and harder against the wall. To escape, Peter and Marusa dream...

After a quarrel with his father Marko finds himself at a decadent party, where he and his girlfriend Vera become victims of salacious jokes. In a rush of anger Marko runs into the night and steals the car, while Vera, convinced that Marko left her, offers her body to everyone. The innocent games at the wild night parties cause tragic events early in the morning.

Temnikar's family prepares for the Christmas, but to him, it's the time of dark premonitions and anxiety. In the mountain cave, hidden by snow, the wounded partisans are hiding, and Temnikar suspects the treason. Once the White Guard patrol shows up at Temnikar's doorstep, he finds out about their plan to go and finish off the wounded partisans.

Story of the many jobs undertaken by a sanitary technician.

An emigrant returning after many years, is killed while trying to clear his name of treason. Investigation produces several skeletons.
