The best sport movies

by guisreis • Created 11 years ago • Modified 2 months ago
I excluded movies about boxing and football (soccer) here, because they are too many! I wanted to include a larger variety of sports.
I made a whole list only for boxing movies and another one for football (soccer) films.

Some of the movies in this list do not have a sport as its main subject, but a sport plays an important role.

This could be one more well made motivational American football film, like Jerry Maguire, Remember the Titans, Rudy, The Replacements, or Varsity Blues, but it is even more, as it also deals with many other important issues, such as: business over all, media effects, family relations, age conflicts, vanity, health problems. The minor drawbacks are the excess of unnecessary nude butts and some scatology, but, on the other hand, the film may also be praised for its edition innovations. By the end, one more sample that this is not any given conventional American football movie.
