In the final credits it is said that this is a B movie, but it's far from reality, as this is an artistically very careful production. Maitê Proença's beauty adds another nice ingredient to the air of mystery. There are some references to Orson Welles's "The Lady from Shanghai", from which it almost borrows the title.
