Three sleepy babies in a clog-boat sailing through the night sky attempt to fish with candy canes for very smart fish.

A narrator sings the opening stanzas of the classic poem while we see the house at rest. Santa lands on the roof, comes down the chimney, and opens his bag. The toys march out and decorate the tree, with the toy soldiers shooting balls from their cannon, a toy airplane stringing a garland like skywriting, and the toy firemen applying snow. A blimp delivers the star to the top. Meanwhile, Santa fills the stockings. His laughter awakens the children, who sneak out. The toys rush to their places, and Santa escapes up the chimney just in time. The closing verse is sung.

Mickey, Donald and Goofy are firefighters. As you might expect, their attempts at fighting a boarding house fire are not particularly effective. They hear Clarabelle singing in the bathtub and rescue her, tub and all, against her will (she won't believe there's a fire).

Santa's little helpers must hurry to finish the toys before Christmas Day.

Mickey hosts an amateur hour radio show. Among the acts: Donald forgetting the words to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"; Clara Cluck singing and chasing the microphone; and Goofy with an elaborate one-man-band contraption.

Goofy's demonstration of fishing is fouled up by his clumsy casting and fly fishing, and problems with his boat.

Donald's nephews use a mountain lion costume to scare Donald away so they can grab a pie off the windowsill. The deception is exposed, but a short while later, a real mountain lion comes along.

Donald wants to listen to the World Series in his backyard, but a bee, enamored of the classical music he heard before Donald got there, has other ideas.

Donald Duck has to fend off a group of mountain-lions who are intent on taking his catch of fish.

Those crazy mice Hubie & Bertie are at it again with Claude. This time the mice see that Claude is seriously ill, so they give him an operation.

Hobo Donald steals dinner off Pegleg Pete's table. Pete gives Donald a stick of dynamite. Then he puts Donald to work chopping trees. To say Donald is an inept lumberjack is understating the case. After several mishaps, Pete/Pierre chases Donald on railroad handcars.

Chip and Dale and Pluto battle over possession of a supply of nuts.

Mickey has built a robot to compete in the boxing ring against the giant gorilla, the Kongo Killer. Whenever it hears Minnie's car horn, it goes crazy and starts punching any picture of Killer that it sees, even if it's on a brick wall, thus hurting itself. Mickey manages to barely patch his robot together to take on Killer, but after some early success, it gets pummeled by the ape. Minnie fetches the car horn, which brings it back, and it trounces Killer, then flies apart.

Mickey Mouse finds himself incapable of telling anyone no when they want to borrow anything. After it becomes a real problem, he turns to Donald for help.

The guys head out together on a camping trip. However, Donald and Goofy's idea of roughing it is very different than Mickey's.

When Mickey and Minnie head to the Russian ballet they find themselves in the middle of the performance.

Mickey's itchy couple's sweater prevents him from enjoying his date with Minnie.

When Mickey's new dessert is a big hit at the local bazaar, the other merchants don't take kindly to him and attempt to eliminate his newfound business.

When a thief begins stealing every sock in town, Minnie makes it her personal mission to apprehend the criminal behind it.

While spending a day on the Hawaiian beach with Donald and Goofy, Mickey struggles to compose his perfect melody and finds help from an island spirit.

Mickey leads Minnie on a treasure hunt in the Valley of the Tombs, but when the two are separated the adventure might prove too stressful for Mickey.

Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle are excited about attending an exclusive restaurant for lunch, but the maitre d' has no record of their reservations.

Mickey leads Donald to Professor Von Drake's machine in another effort to cure his temper, with chaotic results.

Mickey explains to two dirty playing basketball teams the importance of good sportsmanship as he takes a look in flashbacks of the good qualities that have been displayed in many sports since they first began.
