Lucy wants Milton Berle in little Ricky's school play. So while at his office, she overhears that he can't concentrate on writing a new book, so she offers up her home so that he can write in peace, without anyone else's knowledge. Ricky jumps to the conclusion that Lucy is having an affair and punches out Mr. Berle, not knowing who he really was. The episode concludes with the play Milton agreed to do.

Lucy, Ricky, Fred, Ethel and Fred MacMurray, are in a one-on-one race in a Las Vegas desert to go uranium hunting, but when they make a find all bets are off and it's a race to get back to the claims office, first.

Hedda Hopper visit the Ricardos' Connecticut home for an interview. They all answer questions of how Lucy first met Ricky after a cruise trip to Havana, Cuba, with Ann Sothern in 1940 with thanks to Rudy Vallee's assistance.
