They went to live in the apartment of Magda's uncle Vanderlei Mathias (Luis Gustavo)--the Vavá--and her mother Cassandra (Aracy Balabanian). Vavá, a bachelor who owns a tourist agency that swings between going well and not going well, hardly rejoices at the family's arrival, considering them "a bunch of crazy irresponsibles." Lazily they live off of Vavá while Caco creates ideas for easy money.
