Best Shakespeare Adaptations For Film

by rmahaney4 • Created 9 years ago • Modified 9 years ago
What makes a good film adaptation of a play by William Shakespeare? Essentially, it has to cinematic. I chose these films (and will add to the list as I watch or remember more films) due to their cinematic qualities, not due to their fidelity to the source material. Some of these choices will surprise (a spaghetti western version of Hamlet?!?!?) and some are obvious.
