When Lena Dunham, Spike Jonze, Avicii, Vanessa Hudgens and Michael Shannon get together. Dunham wrote a short film for Sunday night's YouTube Music Awards about a heartbroken guy (Nick Lashaway) whose ex-girlfriend (Hudgens) is hooking up with a daft DJ (Shannon). Things start to look up for the protagonist when he meets an impetuous young woman (Dree Hemingway), but the pleasure is only fleeting thanks to the film's finale, which was chosen by the viewing audience: "a double tragedy" in the vein of "Romeo & Juliet" set to the beat of Avicii's "Wake Me Up" and played for laughs.

This is an epic tale of two gangs, like The Jets and The Sharks. But Girl and Chocolate aren't even gangs. Some of them act tough and some of them act like babies. But they are even more unlike the Jets and The Sharks in that they aren't even battling each other for territory. They really don't know what the hell they are doing. They don't have a feud, most of them really like each other so that is another thing they don't have in common with the Jets and the Sharks. What they do have in common with The Jets and The Sharks is they love to dance. And when I say dance, I mean SKATE. And when I say SKATE, I mean really good. From the directors that brought you Mouse, Yeah Right and Fully Flared, another chapter in this tale with no plot, no ending but beautiful inner battles acted out on a little board with wheels.

The Beastie Boys, along with Santigold, are portrayed in action figure form. In the music video, the Beastie Boys play a concert that is attacked by enemy soldiers. After the Beastie Boys battle with the soldiers, Nazi Zombies reanimate from the snow to attack the Beastie Boys. A yeti comes to their aid and kills the Nazi Zombies. The yeti then helps the Beastie Boys escape in a helicopter. More enemy soldiers with jet packs, shoot down the helicopter. The Beastie Boys parachute into shark infested waters, where they are rescued by submarine. A boat full of enemy soldiers attack the submarine with depth charges. The Beastie Boys manage to sink the boat full of enemy soldiers, and then go water skiing.
