Contando con la última producción de Mónica Montañés, Para verte mejor, desde 1971 hasta 2017, Venevisión ha producido, coproducido o transmitido un total de 215 telenovelas y series. En el 2018, el canal de televisión anunció que no producirá más telenovelas hasta nuevo aviso, ello debido a la crisis económica en Venezuela, cerrando un ciclo ininterrumpido en producción de dramáticos por más de 60 años.
