Douglas Lawrence Osowski (born January 1, 1969), known professionally as Mr. Lawrence, is an American voice actor, writer, and animator. He is best known for his work on the Nickelodeon TV series SpongeBob SquarePants (1999), in which he voices the character Plankton (among others) and has also co-written numerous episodes of the show. Bob Camp is an American animator, writer, cartoonist and storyboard artist who is known for his work on The Ren & Stimpy Show. Scott Thill of Cartoon Brew praised Greenblatt as one of the most influential comedy writers with innovative comedic elements. Cartoon Brew also said Greenblatt "has logged a decade-and-a-half across studios and shows". James Poniewozik of Time credited Greenblatt as defining SpongeBob's comedic style. Greenblatt was one of the writers of the SpongeBob episode "Band Geeks", considered by many to be the best episode of the entire series. SpongeBob writer Kaz recalled writing with Greenblatt fun and said he was full with "weird energy." He is currently working at Warner Brothers where he is executive producing Jellystone. He also mentors a Mahwah, NJ native in animation and is a recurring voice actor on Mexiguin.
