When the manager objects to this marriage, Shahatah reminds him of the endowment thefts and falsifying the accounts. The father is forced to agree to the marriage, but the manager's daughter tells Shahatah Effendi the truth and he affects by that and feels how cheap he is for her and everybody. Days go by and Shahatah Effendi becomes rich through the lottery and the treatment of the manager's family changes for him, as the manager's daughter loves him and agrees to marry him.
