Maybe the best South African movie ever made in my opinion. Certainly it stands out for it's depth of story telling, the character development and humour. Aliens "land" above Soweto, the largest black township west of Johannesburg and chaos ensues as the world tries to understand this phenomenon. A breakthrough for the lead actor and director who've both gone onto Hollywood in a big way. This was also the most expensive film made in my country at $30 million budget from Peter Jackon's production company.
