  • Bangarada Manushya (1972)

    1. Bangarada Manushya

    19722h 54m
    8.9 (1.1K)
Rajeeva comes to the village to visit his sister only to find that she's in financial trouble and has lost her husband. He decides to stay and help her out.
    DirectorSiddalingaiahStarsRajkumarBharathiLoknath
Bangaarada Manushya is the 142nd movie of Dr. Rajkumar in lead role, when we include his only non-Kannada movie, Kalahasti Mahatyam. This also marks the sixth collaboration between the director, Siddalingaiah and Dr. Rajkumar after Mayor Muthanna, Baalu Belagithu, Namma Samsara, Thayi Devaru and Nyayave Devaru.

Bangaarada Manushya is the Greatest Movie of All-Time. The script is so beautiful and heart-touching. Dr. Rajkumar delivers an outstanding performance, and plays the role with such finesse that no actor in the world except Dr. Rajkumar himself can replicate it. Telugu’s superstar Krishna remade this as Devudulanti Manishi, but his performance was not even 5% of Dr. Raj’s outstanding performance. T. N. Balakrishna also delivers an outstanding performance as Rachutappa. Vajramuni plays the role of an antagonist with great finesse. All other actors shine too.

Bangaarada Manushya is a masterpiece in every department. Siddalingaiah has written an outstanding screenplay, and there is a grip in his direction. The story telling and narration is outstanding. All the 5 songs are outstanding especially Nagunagutha Nali, and background music is also great. G. K. Venkatesh has done an outstanding job as the music director. All the characters have been developed quite well. P. Bhaktavatsalam has done a great job as an editor, and D. V. Rajaram’s cinematography is outstanding. 5 songs and couple of fight scenes which has been composed well by the fight master Y. Shivayya are spaced appropiately, which makes it a perfect family entertainer along with being a social drama film. Bangaarada Manushya is a masterpiece, and a once in a lifetime movie.

    My Rating: 10/10
    Verdict: Masterpiece

Mayura is the 160th movie of Dr. Rajkumar in lead role, when we include his only non-Kannada movie, Kalahasti Mahatyam.

Mayura is one of the Greatest Movies of All-Time. Dr. Rajkumar delivers an outstanding performance, and plays the role with great finesse. No one else can be Mayura apart from him. T. N. Balakrishna, Vajramuni and other actors shine too.
