"I don't get how I can be forty-five next year, when I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up!" The story begins with Erica's (Ivana Chýlková) forty-fourth birthday where she fails to receive the biggest bouquet of flowers she can imagine, but she does get a nice good wish card from her ex-sister-in-law (Zuzana Bydzovská) , an embarrassing message in a radio show from her ex-husband, cream for wrinkles from her gay friend Richard (Ondrej Sokol) and a striptease artiste from her unfathomable mother (Zuzana Krónerová). She places the good wish card on show and, even if she curses herself for it, she is moved to tears, and the present in the shape of the striptease-artiste is immediately bagged by Richard. Thus appears the successful life of Erica Oskarová, the star of the program 'Before and After'. Erica has almost everything - her own TV program, a renowned hairdressing salon, a large flat with a terrace, and freedom. But with each year that goes past she yearns more and more for the one thing she does not have - a child. And that is how our film starts...

Comedy inspired by paperback crime novels tells the story of an adventurous search for a mysterious murderer who just after the end of the First World War has begun a rampage in Wilson City, a jerkwater town somewhere in Central Europe. The investigation is being led by an inhomogeneous pair of detectives - a greenhorn and local police cadet named Kvido Eisner (Vojtech Dyk) and an experienced FBI officer Aaron Food (Jirí Machácek), who has been sent to Europe by US President Woodrow Wilson himself.

Urban, an orphan, serves a greedy master watchmaker as an apprentice. When Urban grows up, he falls in love with the watchmaker's daughter Laura and wants to marry her. Before this can happen, the master sends his apprentice out into the world with the task of looking for a mythical watch that can warn of death. No one knows if the watch even exists, but if Urban doesn't bring it back, Laura will never be his wife. The watchmaker's apprentice therefore sets out on a long journey full of hardships, which he must overcome with bravery, skill and a good heart.

But who will believe this mad herbalist with her 'magical' herbs that often cause more chaos than benefit? When things are at their worst in the country, the king signs his soul away to Hell and the Government is taken over by his base Minister (Jirí Lábus). At this time there arrives in the Kingdom an inconspicuous happy dreamer Philip (Stepán Kubista).

A historical co-production with fairy tale elements. It concentrates on Tomás (Brano Holicek), a 14-year-old boy who lives beneath the castle of the powerful Lord Balador (Juraj Kukura). The boy is able to communicate with animals, and he tries to obtain the royal falcon - a symbol of freedom and faith. He also falls in love with Balador's daughter Formina (Klára Jandová), a girl who is to be married off against her will.

A fairy tale, featuring the landlady Margaret, the devil Boniface, the bribable councilors Fake and Chatterbox and the lazy tailor Greasy. In Hell, the devils have a quill that writes human sins into the Book of Sins and the devils go and pull the sinners down to Helll. One day, Boniface goes on Earth, Greasy the Tailor steals the quill from him. The Devils back in Hell think nobody is sinning and everything is all topsy-turvy. Boniface admits to Margaret that he is responsible for the whole mess. Together, they not only save the town of Pytlov from destruction, but Boniface learns what true love is.

Couple of friend, including couples go on a dinner to one couple's flat. One of guests suggests, they should all put their phones on the table and read out loud every message they get and put every call the get on speaker. This, at the first look silly and funny games creates tension, parts of comedy and drama.

Roming is a comical road movie about three Romas' journey from North Bohemia to Slovakia. Jura (Vítezslav Holub) is a modern, rational young man who is studying at university and doing well. When his father (Marián Labuda) asks him to go to Slovakia with him to meet his bride-to-be - from an agreement Jura's father made with his best friend when Jura was still a boy - Jura can't believe his ears. At first he rejects the ridiculous request, but it doesn't take long before he folds under his father's emotional blackmail. Together with the temperamental and uncontrollable family friend Stano (Bolek Polívka), they set off in an old delivery van on a cross-country trip. Roming is an exceptional film in all ways. Just below the surface of the comedy-road movie genre is the universal message of human solidarity, tolerance, and searching for one's own identity. The screenplay won the Sazka Prize and came in first in the national round for the international Hartley-Merrill Prize.

The burning of the village of Lidice by Nazi Germany is the only official genocide during the war. The film tells three interconnected stories that all have to do with burning down and the destruction of Lidice in 1942. The first story is about an unfortunate family where the father accidentally kills his son during a heated discussion, and is sentenced to a prison sentence . The second story is a letter that is the cause of the massacre. The third story is about fear, personal responsibility, and whether survival is a victory when you have to surrender your dignity and honor for it.

Bittersweet comedy from Ondrej Trojan - "Obcanský prukaz", based on book by Petr Sabach about four teenage boys, their friends, parents, lovers - from the moment when they are 15 to moment when they are 18. Story is set in 1970s, when is Czechoslovakia occupied by Russians.

The 1980s in Czechoslovakia. The young talented sprinter Anna (Judit Bárdos) is selected for the national team and starts training to qualify for the Olympic Games. As a part of the preparation she is placed in a secret "medical programme" where she's getting doped with anabolic steroids. Her performance is getting better, but after she collapses at the training, she learns the truth about the drugs. Anna decides to continue in her training without the steroids even though her mother (Anna Geislerova) is worried that she won't be able to keep up with other athletes and might not qualify for the Olympics, which she sees as the only chance for her daughter to escape from behind the Iron Curtain. After Anna finishes the last in the indoor race, her mother informs the coach (Roman Luknar) that Anna is no longer using steroids. They decide to apply the steroids to Anna secretly, pretending it's nothing but doses of harmless vitamins.
