An evil gang is involved in both cattle rustling and the robbing of stagecoaches. Hopalong Cassidy, Hoppy, must stop them without help from the sheriff who turns out be a major outlaw himself.

"Nevada" (Buster Crabbe) and "Weary" Pierce (Syd Saylor)hijack the loot taken in a bank hold-up by Les Setter (Harvey Stephens), and his gang. They escape from Sheriff Jim Henry Warner (Lew Kelly). U. S. government horse-buyer David Ward (Purnell Pratt)is killed by Settler's men and Settler takes his papers and goes to the ranch of Blaine (William Duncan) and asks for the horses Ward was to buy, promising payment from the government later. He also takes an interest in Ina Blaine (June Martel), much to the resentment of her sweetheart Ben Ide (John Patterson). "Nevada" and "Weary" are hired for the horse round-up but Setter has them and Ben arrested on a fake charge. With the aid of the camp cook, Millie Moran (Ruth Warren) they escape and start in pursuit of Setter and his gang.

Stephen Westcott and Ed Martin scheme to put Jane Travers' wagon line out of business. They want to use it take over all the wagon- train traffic going west. Hoppy, California and Lucky must make sure that doesn't happen.

In 1775, Daniel Boone settles Kentucky, despite menacing Indians and renegade whites.

Kate Hilton, returning to her ranch in Springfield via stagecoach after learning of the murder of her father, meets U.S. Marshal Nevada Jack McKenzie. The stage is held up and robbed of the rancher's money, but Nevada manages to bring it in after the driver has been killed. Sandy Hopkins, also a U.S. Marshal, is posing as a cook at the only café in town. Joel Edwards now running the Wells Fargo office after Hilton was killed, and Kate are in love. J. D. Edwards, president of the land-and-cattle company, and step-father to Joel, controls all the interest in Springfield. A number of citizens have been killed for no apparent reason, and Doctor Applegate has sent for Nevada and Sandy to solve the mystery killings. Applegate is killed after he returns from a prospecting trip, but not before he has deposited some of the gold he found in the Wells Fargo safe. J.D. Edwards, in reality the gang leader, means to acquire the property containing the gold that Hilton, originally, and Applegate later found. Nevada and Sandy learn of the location in time to keep the ranchers from selling to Edwards. The latter tries to shoot Nevada, but Joel draws first and kills him. The ranchers are told there is gold on their property, and the whole gang is apprehended.

Invisible aliens from the Moon invade the Earth by occupying the bodies of recently deceased humans but a scientist, his daughter and an army Major, try to fight them.

Wishing to settle down, Fuzzy uses his reward money to buy a newspaper. He then raises money for the new telegraph line. When it is stolen, Barlowe incites the towns people to hang him. But his pal Billy Carson is at work to clear him.

A crooked lawyer and his gang are trying to steal some government land meant for a stagecoach company. The company hires a cowboy to stop them.

An evil gunslinging midget comes to terrorize the good little people of Tiny Town. The townspeople organize to defeat him, and zany antics ensue.

Billy Carson, looking for rustlers, kills Bradley in a gun fight. Arrested, the judge finds him innocent but jails him anyway. When the rustling resumes he is released and posing as a Mexican cattle buyer he hopes to trap the culprits.

Kildare kills Curt Fremont's brother Jim. When Curt arrives he poses as a coward in public but sneaks out unseen to become the daring El Capitan as he looks for the killer.

Jay Lynch, the half-brother of rancher Jim Dawson, schemes with Dawson's crooked lawyer, Jasper Raines, to take over Dawson's ranch. Lynch has his henchmen, "Bronco" West and "Drifter" Smith kill Dawson, but Dawson is only wounded and found and hidden away by cattle-association detectives Tom Sterling and his sidekick, Lopez Mendoza. Lynch then shows up at the Dawson ranch with a forged will, leaving him the ranch, with intent to evict Dawson's daughters, Betty and Sugar, but Sterling and Mendoza intervene. Lynch then hires gunman "Pecos" Dean to ambush and kill Sterling but Dean turns out to be a crook that has reformed. Sterling, aided by Judge Little and Sheriff Hays and the return of the supposedly-dead man, puts an end to Lynch's plan.

Ted Hayden impersonates a wanted man and joins Gentry's gang only to learn later that Gentry was the one who killed his father. He saves Virginia Winters' dad's ranch from Gentry and also rescues his long-lost brother Spud.

Overland mail riders Jack Mason and his pal, Porchy, learn that an Indian uprising is imminent because one of the tribe has been murdered by a gang of outlaws. The primary town of the mail route is also being used as a hideout and base of operations for a gang of counterfeiters led by Joe Polini. Jack and an undercover federal agent, Duke Evans, round up the counterfeiters and turn Polini over to the Indian Chief as the killer of the brave.

The foreman of a mining company is out to steal the mine from its owners, and Gene must stop him.

Ken and Happy, looking for their friend Cherokee, run into an outlaw gang led by Ritter who have been terrorizing the ranchers. Ken figures that one of the prominent citizens is the real boss and sets a trap to find him.

A lawman who brings in a killer only to see him freed because of corruption turns in his badge & sets out on his own to rid his town of killers & crooked politicians.

Doran and the Sheriff have a scheme to bring in an outlaw gang. Doran is sent to prison so he and the gang leader Mitchell can break out. This gets him into the gang but he is in trouble when it's revealed he is working with the Sheriff.

A greedy businessman-turned-renegade foments an Indian uprising against the coming telegraph to perpetuate his economic stranglehold on the territory.

Sheriff Hoppy has to find a way to bring the bad guys, headed by Tom Jordan, to justice in the Lone Star state. The problem is that they are hiding out beyond his jurisdiction, in Oklahoma.

Uncle Joe gets angry at Charlie and Floyd when he is left behind by the Cannonball. He decides to start his own transport business by using the "Flivverball" an old car converted into a railway car. Kate must now deal with the feuding groups before the cannonball goes out of business.

When Kate's old friend Emily Mapes comes to the Shady Rest, she notices that Kate is unmarried and wants to see her wed. Emily recruits Kate's daughters to round up some bachelors to go to the Shady Rest to court Kate. However, Uncle Joe thinks that if Kate finds a man, he will lose his job

Uncle Joe is given the task of digging a drainage ditch for the Shady Rest. He finds the lazy way to do it by spreading rumors of a silver mine in the ground by the Shady Rest. He figures others will do the digging for him.

Tomboy Betty Jo falls in love with Orville, who only has eyes for cars!

Uncle Joe decides to take up painting and hopes to make money with his new venture. When an antique dealer buys a painting, Joe thinks he is a new art master on his way to success. However, the dealer only wants the valuable picture frame.
