The Films of 2024 Best to worst!

This is MARVEL JESUS & "F--kin" Wolverine! This movie is so much fun and makes up a lot for the mistakes of the recent Marvel movies. The cameos are awesome especially my all time favorite comic character plays a role in this movie.

LOVED it.

Not as good as the ORIGINAL from the 80's, and not as good as Afterlife. But this is better then part 2, and obliterates the 2016 reboot. The movie is a 9/10 so it's a movie I loved. Great pace, story is tight. LOVED the acting all around and my only gripe is the ghost girl stuff was a bit much they could have done without her all together and it would have made the movie more solid as that time could have been spent better developing other roles more and even including the main badguy more.

The badguy is awesome do look at once he shows up but he doesn't do much here and sadly that part does fail as it does come off a bit rushed like Vigo the Carpathian ended up being in part 2 from the 80's. Great characters but under developed by other story lines which didn't need to be there or over casting with parts that aren't needing taking up screen time.

Took me a bit to get to watch this just because my computer had a melt down and to make these videos was a no go until recently. As some know me and my good friend Skorp used to do a movie review show but it's also been hard being able to get us to do it. SO with this I'm doing my own review videos alone and based on 1 film per video.

This movie Demise is one I've been having in my "TOO DO" list to watch, and I must say I'm not much into "DRAMA/Thrillers" that deal in sex plots but I am a fan of older movies like "Fatal Attraction" and this movie really reminded me of that movie while being it's own thing.

The director who also wrote the film "Yara Estrada Lowe" did a fantastic job on narrating the story and the film has a great edit done which doesn't come off as some cheap indi movie. This is a movie that you can tell had a real talented film maker, and cast behind making it work. The acting comes off as authentic, the movie has a good pace and doesn't drag at any part of the acts. The movie even at times gives me a "SCREAM" vibe.

Love the intro it's very James Bond style without the Bond song! But the music, and text and video cuts intros the movie really well as this is a Drama/Thriller. The set up to when we meet our main actor Carlo Mendez who's fantastic in this and he's been working for sometime waiting for a movie that really challenges his range as an actor.

This one really does because it's not just a "SPANISH" guy stereotype But this is a real movie with a very good and well cast of actors. Carlo who plays Caleb Castillo, a Latino landscaper, who's involved in a scandal with fashion star Fiona outside of his marriage he the once devoted husband to his wife Celine makes a major mistake after tragic news.

After they break up, and Celine reclaims her husband in a bloody messed up way and takes his son Brody and tries to be his new mom (Fiona's & Caleb's actual son), despite Caleb having left her for another woman she plays the return to their marriage after what she does to Fiona which when seen is both shocking in the twists but shows the range of all the actors.

This movie is a great way to show us guys who enjoy having more than one girl in they lived at a time like nobody will find out. So don't do it! LOL Now While seems like a great way to spend life! The fact is that everything one does in life comes back and punches you in the face when you least expect it. Sometimes it also kicks you in the guts when your down so it's a cautionary tale for all men.

Also helps when his wife is gorgeous and so is the side girlfriend who comes between t hem. The wife Celine is played by Liz Fenning who is stunning to look at, and very talented
in this movie as she pulls off multi levels of emotions, and has exceptional range.

Crystal Hernandez plays Fiona the young lady who ends up taking Caleb from his wife Celine. And like Liz Fenning again his wife Celine. Both ladies are well easy to look at as they're both stunningly gorgeous woman and talented actress. The set up for Caleb is realistic in that he's a young charming guy who likes women and he ends up making the mistake of a lifetime.

So when it goes down or as some call it.. "The Shit hits the FAN!" This tale gets dark as it should. I don't want to spoil much here because again this is the set up in the first act but the entire movie has a good story, and it's ending works and wraps up satisfying. Possibly the only way this could end.

Overall this movie is a cautionary tale of how to and not to handle oneself who is already in a marriage or long term relationship.. Listen fellas! Remember the words... "Nothings worse than a woman who feels scorned!"

I don't get the audience score on this small indi movie. This is one really good thriller. The title is perfect for what it is and the final act is as good as "Sixth Sense" "Frailty" "Stir of Echoes" I mean this is right there with them. The actors are people I never seen before and didn't know which added to it I think because it always helps when the actors are people new to you and they are good actors. NOBODY here gives a bad performance... Everyone including the male lead do a fantastic job with the role they have and the end is to die for. Great twists, the pace is perfect and the acting and directing this fantastic script is on point 100% and so I loved this movie... One of the best of 2024 for me for sure.

How did this movie not come out in theaters? Can someone explain this to me? This is one of the best movies of 2024 by far and it's not a theatrical release? This is a crying shame! This movie would have been a major blockbuster for sure! I think this would have easily done $200 Million domestically and around 600 world wide with a proper theatrical release. Hope they go that route for the sequel... Great action, top notch directing and my man Jake G is on top of his game in this... Loved it! ONE OF The best remakes I've ever seen.

Best Kevin Smith Movie in many years!

I liked Ultraman for years growing up during the 80's and 90's and even had some of the toys, and things but wasn't a full blown fanatic. But the things he did, and the stories and comics were always stuff I loved as a kid. While I haven't had much interest in Ultraman in a long time this movie really hit home for me having lost my mother in 2016 and with the story here... Works so well.

You know it's Netflix so they're very hit and miss on this stuff but I do think this one was really well done and you can tell the creator of this movie had put it together with a lot of love for the core of this character and found a great way to update and modernize him... Loved this movie and hope everyone gives it a chance no matter how you feel about Netflix original movies.

Didn't expect to like this movie when I saw the trailer but man it was a ton of fun! I seen it 4 times and even in spanish dubbed with my dad who also loved it. This should have been a bigger boxoffice draw. Henry Cavill as Argylle himself is bloody awesome in the role and the entire cast are great in this is full of A List names! All really just do a great job with the parts they got in the story.

Sam Rockwell as Aidan Wilde rules like always, and Bryce Dallas Howard as the main author in the movie who is the central part of it all is soooooooo good! Bryce has always delivered good performances but this is her best as Elly Conway.

The always fantastic Catherine O'Hara plays Ruth and she is like always just awesome. She's still one of my favorite actresses. Been a fan since I was a kid from first watching Beetlejuice as a kid in theaters like 20 times. Me and my pops would go see that movie almost once a week cause we both loved it... We plan to see "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" together also in theaters.

Man you can't get better war dramas now a days than this! Liam Hemsworth as AF Sgt. JJ Kinney crushes it in this movie and Russell Crowe as AF Capt. Eddie Grimm 'Reaper' also crushes it. But Russell and Liam are always good in everything they do. So that didn't shock me. Great flick.

Adam Sandler is one of my favorite comics ever and I'm a die hard fan of his movies. This is not a comedy! While it's got some funny parts this movie is dark, and he's amazing in this film and shows that he's got more than goofy awesome comedy movies in him. Hollywood please cast him in more dramatic movies he can do what Jim Carrey can't! Adam Sandler can deliver a great dramatic performance without making goofy faces like Jim. Adam Sandler is awesome!

IF you're an Alien fan you will enjoy This movie as it adds well into the overall mythology.

Good tale about what all this fancy AI could mean to the world moving into our future with this tech at it's baby stage now and what will it become. Decent flick a bit slow but good.

Decent action movie which has an ok storyline and good cast. Kevin Hart plays his normal role as Kevin Hart but with the name "Cyrus" but this is my problem with him as an actor. Everything he's in it's the same performance... He needs to showcase more range in future movies or he will be forgotten soon.

Yes we are...

Funny movie but nothing special just funny stuff... Zac Efron was good as was the best of the cast but it's a buddy movie and we seen those a lot. This has a cool original story to it which works well here and again good pace, funny gags. A bit of a stretch on the storyline but it works.

Biggest disappointment of this year... I was hoping so much this would be a good movie but it just isn't. The entire thing is a joke on the fans of the Batman universe I think because this movie is horrible, and Todd Phillips just ruined his own creation and possible future in this universe with this trash.
