This award show recognizes the best of Dutch short-films of the past year, granting prizes in 10 categories: Best Director, Best Actor, Best Documentary, Best Animation, Best Experimental, Best Screenplay, Best Director of Photography, Best Post-Production, Best Actress and Best Film. The latter receives a grand prize into the making of a new film. It’s an equal contribution by Shorts TV, Cam-a-lot and Filmmore. 

The winners of each category are chosen by a jury made up of industry professionals: Actors Tygo Gernandt, Vincent van Ommen, Rutger Hauer and actress Ariane Schluter. Directors Roel Reiné and Eddy Terstal. Producers Jeroen Koolbergen, Jan Harlan, Harmen Jalvingh and Jan Doense, EYE film-programmer René Wolf, Claire van Daal and street-artist Laser 3.14.
