On 1997 I created a Word document to write down of the movies and shorts I watched in cinema. It has survived several PCs and I continue updating it every time I back to the cinema, hence the accuracy of the data. This is the list of these movies I've seen on theater on my life (cinema was so much cheaper at 80s, 90s and early 2000s), indicating date and place, including outdoor cinemas and special events, as my age when I watched them as extra. Also there are a few terms coined by me: -"A Hanks": at late 90s, in the Spanish cinema magazine "Imágenes de Actualidad" (Imágenes, for short) existed a little section to read real-life quotes from actors, actresses and directors. Once I read one attributed to Tom Hanks (rough translation): «A good movie is the one that you leave the cinema telling yourself "thank God for have watching it"». Leaving aside the religious reference, this is how I call a movie that it makes say to me "thank for have watching it" after I leave the cinema. -"A Heston": it refers when I watch a movie in an empty cinema, and I am the only one viewer. The name comes from The Omega Man (1971), when Charlton Heston's character Robert Neville is in an empty cinema watching Woodstock (1970). -Doublet: two movies watched in the same day.

This is a list of feature movies with a decimal rating higher than 7.00. Films that have been screened are included, and some of them are translated into Croatian. Not included: silent films, animated and semi-documentaries with more than 50% of documentaries. Older films that are on various lists of specialized magazines and film associations, when viewed and evaluated, will be added to the list. Movies must be 60 minutes long …TV movies not included.

 The following were evaluated: directing, camera, acting, costume design, special effects, photography, music, and script with in the end.

Each item was graded from 1.00 to 10.00. For example: directing - 7.50; camera - 7.15; acting -8.20; costume design - 7.00; special effects - 6.50; Photography - 7.70; music - 5.50; script with in the end - 8.10 + 8.50.

These nine grades are summed and divided by 9, and the final grade is obtained. In this example it is: 7.35

On IDMb the grades are without decimal numbers, I put a grade of 7 (from 7.00 to 7.49) 8 (from 7.50 to 8.49) 9 (from 8.50 to 9.49) and 10 (from 9.50 to 10.00). The films have been arranged from 1930 until today.
