DIC entertainment was founded by a French guy who sought to make Cheap, Formulaic & Simplistic Saturday Morning cartoons to compete with the likes of Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Filmation & Nickelodeon. Other then Great classics such as Inspector Gadget, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog with Long John Baldry as the Hammy Dr. Robotnik (Dr. Eggman in Japanese) "SnooPingas Usual!" & the Mario Cartoons, they are a Mixed Bag to say the least. Oh and the Awful cartoon that butchered Tex Avery's Legacy. Most of their Shows are owned by the Walt Disney Company indicated by a D. With the exceptions of some titles, All are currently owned by Wildbrain minus the Live-Action Movies which are retained by Disney.
