The best 500 movies I've seen so far. This is not a formal list based on film history neither on film rating in imdb. This list contents both - favorite movies and those who have great cinematic accomplishments according to my opinion. I didn't included films that I don't realy like. For example, Star Wars you can say is a great movie but you wont find it in this list. The greatest movie ever made for me is "Ben-Hur", the position of others could be changed or debated.     List is based entirely on movies wich I have seen so it be revised and updated regularly. I select films from Asian and Europien cinema but the list is largely base on American cinema wich I consider as the best. I've included a lot of Oscar winners and nominees. Best foreign language films.  Movies starting from 1931 up to nowadays. There is many classic films included but the majority of titles are after 1960. In my opinion the best movies in American cinema are made in the 70's.  I've included films from all genre but you wont find much western or comedy here and to be quite honest just a few musicals. I prefer watching mainly drama, crime, mystery and let's say more meaningful films.  I've excluded from the list: documentaries, short films, animation, series and tv films. I took the best from some of the great directors and actors. You can find lots of blockbusters here but also very little known great films.  Some movies might not be for you but I'm sure that you can find something to enjoy.  If there is film you think I have missed, I will be happy to consider it or wath it, if I didn't. Enjoy!
