This is a dynamic list of my all-time favourite movies. It includes either great works of art or simply personal favourites that scored high with their entertainment value. 

To be honest, I have made this list mainly for myself and I enjoy grooming it, but thanks for stopping by; I can assure you that its main characteristic is its integrity. These are the films that are sincerely my favourites and not what I would like others to see; the ones that I regard as the best or the ones that entertained me the most, irrespective of their IMDb rating, their country of origin or their reputation status among cinephiles.

If you think that some movie is missing, it's not necessarily because I don't like it. Chances are that I've not seen it; even the most experienced audience are still infants compared to the vast field of world cinema. My film interests include all kinds of works, both mainstream and arthouse, so this list is a mixture of both. I would hope that you find the list in some way helpful whether you're a sophisticated or a more casual viewer.

Feature films, short films, documentaries, animation, TV movies and mini-series from any country, genre and year are eligible for inclusion; continuing TV series and individual episodes are not.

The list is in order - however, I highly recommend all of these films, regardless of position.

This is a list of my favourite films from my homeland. It includes some of the finest and most acclaimed films in the history of Greek cinema along with a few personal favourites; also featuring the best works of Theo Angelopoulos, arguably the most famous of Greek directors and one of the most masterful auteurs of world cinema. 

If you think that some movie is missing, it's not necessarily because I don't like it. Chances are that I've not seen it; I have an experience of more than 500 films with Greece as country of origin, but there's still more to explore. The list is constantly changing and expanding.
