I take this list far too seriously. Comedy TV shows are my life. I have a bias towards ridiculous premises and clever story lines. I hate laugh tracks with a passion. Feel free to comment or recommend shows. My criteria can be broken down to the following criteria. 1. How much did I enjoy the show? 2. Would I rewatch the show? 3. How many times could I rewatch it? 4. Would I watch a new season if it came out? 5. Did I even finish the show?

my IMDb rating system: 1* regret watching it (no aesthetic or cultural value) 2* waste of time 3* hardly entertaining (a drag, hard to watch) 4* hardly recommendable 5* ok (not worth watching twice) 6* entertaining (rather ephemeral, good for movie nights) 7* good (worth watching several times) 8* inspiring (extremely entertaining, mind-blowing) 9* visually & thematically overwhelming (goes to my heart) 10* Masterpiece (all time favorite, stays in my heart, re-watched at least once) If I'm undecided on my vote I'll always choose the lower rating.
