A technology inventor, Zeynep Inanoglu is his half-sibling from her father's next marriage with iconic actress Gülsen Bubikoglu. Zeynep Inanoglu's husband is journalist Cüneyt Özdemir. His paternal uncle is producer Berker Inanoglu. The child star Sezer Inanoglu is his cousin.
He is best known for his role as Engin Balkan on the police series Back Streets (2006) which the longest Turkish series. He had his screen debut at 4 years old, as Ahmet in the family comedy Yumurcak with her mother Filiz Akin. He studied at Leman College in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2002 he made his directorial debut with the limited mini-series Kursun Asker.
He was married to Biricik Suden from 1986 - 1988, and Yesim Salkim from 2007 - 2008. He has one child, Berker Inanoglu from marriage from Chloe.
