Maria Ionescu graduated in Cinema from ECA - University of São Paulo. She founded Orion Cinema e Vídeo with Francisco Botelho, producing the feature Cidade Oculta, among several short films and documentaries. Since 1997, she has worked in exclusive partnership with Sara Silveira in Dezenove Som e Imagens, where she has produced multiple films - including Through the Window, by Caroline Leone, Todos os Mortos, by Caetano Gotardo & Marco Dutra, and As Boas Maneiras, by Juliana Rojas & Marco Dutra.
