Michael Jackson’s son Prince Jackson made a rare public appearance Saturday when he attended the Sydney, Australia, premiere of “Mj: The Musical.”

“Mj: The Musical” focuses on Michael Jackson’s preparation for his 1992 Dangerous World Tour. The musical opened on Broadway in December 2021.

Prince and his siblings Paris and Bigi attended a preview night for the play in London in March 2024. The original Broadway production was followed by a touring show of “Mj: The Musical” that began casting actors for the roles of “Mj” and “Little Michael” in 2023.

Actors are asked to prepare their favorite Michael Jackson or Jackson 5 song for the auditions held at Gus Giordano in Chicago and the Doubletree Hilton in Detroit.

“Mj” is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award winner Christopher Wheeldon, with a book written by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage. The Broadway production now stars Elijah Rhea Johnson as Michael Jackson.

The King of Pop is and will remain Michael Jackson — at least according to his son, Prince Jackson.

Et’s Denny Directo spoke to Prince at the Thriller Night Halloween benefit over the weekend, following Rolling Stone UK’s controversial move to hand over the crown to Harry Styles. While Prince acknowledged the “As It Was” singer’s talents, he maintained that the title is reserved for his late father, and his late father only.

“There’s so many technological, social factors, that I think went into the earning of the title, ‘King of Pop,'” Prince began. “I don’t see it as a slight to anybody else’s career, because they’ve had their own length of achievements, but the ‘King of Pop’ is a unique achievement, because he broke boundaries in countries that didn’t have the same infrastructure that they do now.”

Michael Jackson’s son Prince has maintained that his father is the “greatest” music star of all time.

On Friday (28 October), Prince appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss his father’s legacy 40 years on from the release of Thriller.

He told hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins: “I was born into it – I was born in ’97 in the middle of the History tour – so anytime we were travelling aorund, there was always people surrounding him and, for me, that just kind of felt normal.

“When I started to realise that this was something more was when I started weatching videos of men fainting over my day. Even now, I’m understanding the full weight of his legacy – as I grow up, as I learn more about his history. His impact is so much deeper than I can fully comprehend.”

While attending Milan Fashion Week, Paris Jackson turned heads while wearing a sheer white gown, showing off her many tattoos in the chic sleeveless dress.

Killing Eve star Sandra Oh has been spotted at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, one of very few TV personalities to be invited.

Oh was seen in the past couple of hours or so and Twitter has been abuzz with the arrival of the Grey’s Anatomy star.

Oh was appointed an Order of Canada as an Officer a few months ago and was dressed in black with a Canadian badge pinned in front, according to the BBC.

Peep Showfans have reacted with delight upon realising that the actor who played Big Suze in the show, Sophie Winkleman, is a member of the royal family.

On Friday evening (16 September), the Queen’s children – King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew – stood by her coffin in Westminster Hall in a vigil for the late monarch.

The event was covered live on BBC One, with some viewers spotting Winkleman standing with the royals.
