Fans were waiting on pins and needles throughout the first season of Percy Jackson for news of a renewal, and it didn’t take Disney long after the Season 1 finale to announce that Percy Jackson had been renewed for Season 2. It was then announced back in March that Percy Jackson had already been renewed for Season 3 to cut down on the wait between seasons.

Sally Jackson has always been an important character in the Percy Jackson books. As the mother of a demigod, she’s had to give up a lot in order to keep Percy safe. And yet it’s very clear that she wouldn’t have it any other way. She loves Percy with her whole heart, and has raised him to be compassionate, caring, and brave.
