Exclusive: Jack Haven (I Saw the TV Glow) and actress/comedian Janeane Garofalo (Wet Hot American Summer) are set to star in Grind, a darkly comedic thriller from filmmaker Peter Collins Campbell that shoots in New York City in October.

In the indie, Haven plays Ricky, a hustle-culture-obsessed Manhattan food delivery biker on a mad dash to make all of his rent in one night. No word on the role to be played by Garofalo.

Supported by Cinereach, Grind will be produced by Bethany McHugh for Affects Next Day’s Work, with Philipp Engelhorn serving as executive producer. Allison Estrin is casting the project.

It's been almost two decades since MTV's The Hills premiered, and it's time to update fans about the show's cast. When the reality series premiered in 2006, it ushered in a golden age of unscripted reality drama. HBO’s White House Plumbers is born out of a simple truth: that the events that occurred at the Watergate Office Building on June 17, 1972, while accounting for one of the most seismic political scandals in American history, were profoundly stupid. By walking us through each step in the planning, execution, and attempted cover-up of the operation, Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck’s five-part limited series—based on Egil and Matthew Krogh’s 2007 book Integrity—effectively underlines just how braindead the whole thing was, even as it struggles to wring many laughs from its depiction of the events.

“No names have been changed to protect the innocent, because nearly everyone was found guilty” reads the opening title card, accompanied by a jazzy, Ocean’s Eleven-esque number as our suited-and-booted burglars stride confidently into the Watergate building. They almost immediately encounter a door that they’re unable to unlock and have no choice but to retreat.

Most are familiar with the Watergate scandal: several burglars were arrested at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters on June 17, 1972; President Richard Nixon’s administration attempted to cover up its involvement in the break-in; and the political crime ultimately led to Nixon’s resignation.

But who were the masterminds behind the Watergate scandal? Their perspectives are revealed in the upcoming HBO limited series, “White House Plumbers.”

The upcoming HBO show and newest production by Veep showrunner David Mandel, White House Plumbers, has released its teaser trailer. The show stars Woody Harrelson as E. Howard Hunt and Justin Theroux as G. Gordon Liddy and is set to follow the Watergate scandal from its inception to the fall of Richard Nixon's presidency. After being announced in 2019, the show added recognizable faces like Domhnall Gleeson, Lena Headey, Kiernan Shipka, and Liam James to the cast in 20210. As a limited series, White House Plumbers will have five episodes to share its story.

HBO released the show's trailer and revealed just how quickly the scheme will fall apart. While White House Plumbers production was temporarily paused in August of 2021 after Mandel had an altercation with a member of the prop department, the issue was eventually settled, and the show is ready for premiere in March of 2023. On Friday, HBO released the first official teaser trailer for the upcoming political drama television miniseries “White House Plumbers,” created by Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck. The series is based on the 2007 book “Integrity: Good People, Bad Choices, and Life Lessons from the White House” by Egil and Matthew Krogh.

It follows Watergate masterminds and President Richard Nixon’s political operatives E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy who accidentally overturn the Presidency they were trying to protect.

HBO release the trailer for its new limited political series on Friday which see the two actors involved with dirty politics.

The five-episode series follows Richard Nixon’s political saboteurs who masterminded Watergate, E. Howard Hunt (Woody Harrelson) and G. Gordon Liddy (Justin Theroux), as they attempt to secure his presidency and unintentionally sabotage the former president.

Also cast as series regulars are Shea Whigham and Darby Camp in the drama based on the first season of the Slate podcast Slow Burn. The series is currently filming in Los Angeles.

Gaslit is a modern take on Watergate that focuses on the untold stories and forgotten characters of the scandal – from Nixon’s bumbling, opportunistic subordinates to the deranged zealots aiding and abetting their crimes to the tragic whistleblowers who would eventually bring the whole rotten enterprise crashing down.
