The Perfection is directed by Richard Shepard and stars Allison Williams and Logan Browning as Charlotte and Lizzie, two classic musically trained prodigies who – on a chance meeting at a musical exhibition held by the benefactors of each girl, both of whom are showing off their latest star pupil – become entangled in each other’s talent. Together they slowly bond with deadly morally ambiguous intent.
Richard Shepard’s film is a thrilling haunting blast from its eerie start to its diabolically horrid and splendid climax. Splitting itself into chapters – in a similar style implemented by Tarantino in his filmography – and structuring itself into a series of five individual parts with aptly provided titles. The...

Controversial director Uwe Boll is making headlines once more, but this time he isn't boxing critics or suing film festivals. Producer Bob Van Ronkel is suing the German director for $1 million, claiming his name was intentionally misspelled on the credits of In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds.
The lawsuit alleges that Bob Van Ronkel's name was purposefully changed to "Rob Van Runkel," after the producer and director clashed over Bob Van Ronkel's producers fee. After his title was completely stripped from the film, a compromise was reached and he was given an associate producer credit, only to see his named misspelled during the end credits, which the producer claims Uwe Boll did on purpose. Bob Van Ronkel's name was also left off the DVD box art and other marketing materials. Here is an excerpt from the lawsuit, which was filed today in the Los Angeles Superior Court.

This is the Pure Movies review of The Twilight Saga: New Moon (starring Kristen Stewart, Christina Jastrzembska, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke, Anna Kendrick, Michael Welch, Justin Chon and Christian Serratos and directed by Chris Weitz). Having been entirely seduced by the dizzying combination of silliness and hormonal angst on display in 2007’s Twilight, I hied me to a cinema hot with anticipation for New Moon. Naively, I hoped that the much-discussed ‘development’ of the character Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) wouldn’t dominate the film too much – for me, two hours of footage featuring an eight-packed teenager sounds both pervy and dull. This was because the chemistry between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) was what made Twilight so unexpectedly gripping in the first place. Sadly for me (if not for thousands of Twihards), my foolish hopes were sadly dashed.
