KPop Demon Huntersstar Arden Cho addressed what happened to Jinu and whether he will return. The popular animated movie centers on Huntr/x, a K-pop musical group that protects the world from demons. Alongside Cho, who voices Rumi, the cast of KPop Demon Hunters includes May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, Ken Jeong, and Ahn Hyo-seop.

Jinu (Ahn) is initially intent on challenging Huntr/x, but he has a change of heart when he discovers that Rumi is part demon. While he abandoned his family and is working for Gwi-Ma (Lee Byung-hun), Jinu grows close to Rumi, who seeks to help him. However, he appears to die in the end.

During an interview with Collider, Cho addressed whether Jinu is actually dead and if he could return in a potential KPop Demon Hunters sequel. Without directly confirming Jinu's fate, Cho revealed that she did not want to imagine he had really died.

Far and away, Netflix's most-watched movie of all time is Red Notice (2021) with 230.9 million views. Carry-On (2024) and Adam McKay's Don't Look Up (2021) are fairly far behind, rounding out the top three with 172 million and 171 million views, respectively.

The back half of the top 10 includes The Adam Project (2022), starring Ryan Reynolds, in fifth place with 157.6 million views, and Bird Box (2018), starring Sandra Bullock, right behind in sixth with 157.4 million views. Plans to bring the Community gang back together for a reunion movie have been on the table for years, but the project has yet to officially set a production start date. Star Alison Brie has commented on the current status of the film, but it's a disappointing update for fans.

Brie addressed the film while at San Diego Comic-Con to promote her new movie, Together, via ScreenRant. When asked about an update on Community: The Movie, Brie said there was nothing whatsoever new to report. She then shared that the project is "sort of paused," still with no concrete plans to actually start filming.

The Girlfriend, Prime Video’s series adaptation of the Michelle Frances novel starring Robin Wright (House of Cards) and Olivia Cooke (House of the Dragon), will release all six episodes on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Wright plays Laura, a woman whose perfect life begins to unravel when her precious son, Daniel (Laurie Davidson), brings home Cherry (Cooke), a girlfriend who changes everything.

Fox’s upcoming game show “99 to Beat” has given its contestants one more surprise: The show’s prize pot, originally set at $100,000, has been bumped up to $1 million. Fox revealed the news of the windfall while sharing a first look at the new gamer, hosted by Erin Andrews and Ken Jeong, which Variety can reveal exclusively.

“99 to Beat” has also been given a premiere date: Wednesday, September 24, at 9 p.m. Et, following the Season 4 premiere of Fox’s hit gamer “The Floor,” hosted by Rob Lowe.

Per Fox, “99 to Beat” centers on 100 contestants who “go head-to-head in a range of visually distinctive and hilarious games in an arced competition game show like we’ve never seen before. ’99 to Beat’ is the game show that anyone can win, and there’s only one thing players must do for a chance of walking away with the cash prize – Don’t.

Plot: A world-renowned K-pop girl group, Huntr/X, balances their lives in the spotlight with their secret identities as demon hunters.

KPop Demon Hunters revealed that Rumi, one of the main hunters tasked with eliminating demons, harbors a terrifying secret about her heritage that puts her in grave danger. Netflix's new animated movie follows the story of Huntrix, a K-pop trio that took the world by storm with their music while protecting humans from the emergence of demons. The trio, which consists of Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo), has been battling the forces of the demon king, Gwi-Ma, through the years, but things take a significant turn after the villain utilized a group of demons masquerading as a KPop boy band to take the girls down. 

Directed by Chris Appelhans and Maggie Kang, KPop Demon Hunters highlights a stellar cast, which is headlined by Arden Cho, May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, Ahn Hyo-Seop, Squid Game star Lee Byung-hun, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, and Yunjin Kim.

Because most of the core characters were killed over the course of season 1, there are very few members of the Squid Game cast who have appeared in both seasons. These core stars include Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun (Player 456), Wi Ha-joon as Detective Hwang Jun-ho, and Lee Byung-hun as Hwang In-ho (The Front Man). All three stars are also set to appear in the upcoming season 3, which is set to conclude the series.
