Bill Hader joked about the numerous afflictions and anxiety-induced maladies he suffered while a cast member on Saturday Night Live during a new interview with his old coworker, Seth Meyers, on Late Night.
Hader has spoken before about how anxious he was during his time on the show, and this was ostensibly part of the reason he chose not to participate in the SNL 50 special earlier this year. Bill Hader has finally revealed the real reason he skipped the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary show, saying his crippling anxiety prevented him from participating in the primetime special. (A representative for Hader previously told Variety he had a “longstanding scheduling conflict.”)
On “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” Hader revealed that Andy Samberg called him about an idea for a digital short about how everyone at “SNL” has anxiety. Hader said he wasn’t sure he wanted to be in the sketch, and when Samberg asked why, Hader responded: “Because I’m anxious!”
Hader said Bowen Yang ended up playing the part Samberg had conceived for him, and “he was great.”
“I was really shaky and everything. I was really anxious,” Hader said of his time on the NBC sketch comedy show. Hader was an “SNL” cast member from 2005 to 2013, and he came back to host twice. In the years since,...

If you need to get your heart pumping this summer, you don't need to pick a fight with a biker gang or zap yourself with a defibrillator: try a safer option and watch Jason Statham's high-octane action thriller Crank. It won't cost you a dime, because as of August 1, it's streaming on Vizio WatchFree+. The streaming service is available for free to anyone using a Vizio device.
Crank, a cross between Doa and Speed, was almost a very different movie: writer-directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor conceived of the film with Johnny Knoxville in mind for the lead. Instead, Statham ended up as the film's leading man, although he had doubts about whether he could handle the comedic aspects of the script. What he could handle were the film's death-defying stunts, most of which he performed himself. The film's mix of over-the-top comedy and brutal action proved to be...

Former Jackass star Bam Margera is back in the spotlight with his inclusion in the new Tony Hawk video game, giving fans a chance to see him elsewhere after his absence in Jackass Forever. Margera and the Jackass team had a big falling out during the production of the sequel, and that seems to have forever put the kibosh on a possible return to the franchise.
Margera discussed the way things were left with Jackass during an interview with CinemaBlend to promote the new video game Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4. He was asked if there was any chance he could revisit Jackass or potentially resurrect his spinoff series, Viva La Bam, in some way. Margera said that the Jackass ship had sailed after what happened with the last movie.

Skateboarder Bam Margera rose to TV fame via the Jackass franchise, risking life and limb for the sake of sadistic TV laughs. But there’s no way he’d ever revisit those glory days, either on film or via reboot, since he has no intention of mending his rift with Johnny Knoxville and the gang, he recently told CinemaBlend.
“They have like new dudes, and what they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and then not putting me in a movie,” he explained. “You know, I had to go to court over it, and I just… You couldn’t offer me enough money to want to do another Jackass with them. The damage has been done.”
Margera settled a lawsuit against a number of key Jackass players in 2022, alleging wrongful termination and claiming he was forced to sign an agreement he called psychological torture.

Jackass’ Bam Margera has made up his mind about a potential reunion, and fans won’t be too thrilled. The former skateboarder became a popular culture icon thanks to the MTV shows that featured unforgettable stunt performances and pranks. It aired between October 2000 and August 2001, with reruns extending into 2002. Starring in this cringe comedy was a regular cast ensemble, including Margera, Johnny Knoxville, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Steve-o, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, and Preston Lacy.
In a recent CinemaBlend interview with Margera, the TV personality dished on the subject of returning to Jackass, which he was not entirely against; however, reuniting with his crew was out of the question. Explaining why, he said:

Bam Margera is promoting his first project in some years with his inclusion as the “secret skater” in the video game remake “Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4.” But the stuntman and skateboarder is still ruling out a return to his “Jackass” origins
“What they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and then not putting me in a movie, and, you know, I had to go to court over it,” Margera said in a CinemaBlend interview when asked about the prospect of a reunion. “You couldn’t offer me enough money to want to do another ‘Jackass’ with them. Margera sued Paramount, “Jackass” leader Johnny Knoxville and director Spike Jonze in 2021, alleging he was wrongfully fired from the series revival feature “Jackass Forever.” Margera, who served as a main cast member of the original “Jackass” TV series on MTV and three subsequent features,...

Nearly 25 years after its MTV debut, Bam Margera has no intention of returning to his Jackass roots.

Over the years, WWE introduced a flurry of intriguing gimmicks. From Seth Rollins’ Joker to Bray Wyatt’s Eater of Worlds, from The Undertaker’s Phenom to Kane’s Big Red Machine, the list is endless. However, veering off the trajectory of the main roster characters, WWE introduced a handful of special characters to tell stories that would aid the major superstars in getting the mileage they were looking forward to. One of them was Eugene.
Nick Dinsmore, popularly known as Eugene, was introduced as a wrestling savant with a developmental disability. The kind of character depth that was needed to take the role forward needed more than wrestling. It required acting brilliance while perfectly aligning oneself with the role, considering the emotional challenge that was inherent in his. Eugene did an incredible job with the same.

Released back in 1997, Men in Black changed the sci-fi game with a tale that felt as relevant as a hip-hop drama but soaked in the gadget-wielding specialty of a sci-fi tale. Starring the rapidly rising star of Will Smith alongside Tommy Lee Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio, and more, Men in Black went on to become not just a critical success and a $589 million box office hit, but also a champion of the music charts with its title track performed by Smith in his musical pomp.
Of course, as with any great box office hit of this ilk, a sequel was given the green light, but wouldn't see the light of day for another five years. Starring a returning Smith and Jones alongside newcomers Rosario Dawson, Johnny Knoxville, and more, Men in Black II was a shell of its revolutionary predecessor, receiving just 38% from critics and 45% from audiences on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes,...

Good news for the struggling “rat rectum soup” industry: Fear Factor is coming back.
NBC’s notorious reality competition show is being rebooted as a new series dubbed Fear Factor: The Next Chapter. Unlike previous iterations of the franchise, this one will reportedly involve contestants being “dropped into an unforgiving, remote location” where they will have to “live together under one roof, and face mind-blowing stunts, harrowing challenges and a twisted game of social strategy where trust is fleeting.”
So, in other words, the show is getting the full Squid Game treatment.
The original series was, of course, hosted by Joe Rogan, while the short-lived MTV revival starred Ludacris. But for the newest take on the format, the producers have opted to hire a totally new host, one who isn’t busy making hundreds of millions of dollars interviewing celebrity quacks. Johnny Knoxville has been tapped to host the all-new Fear Factor: The Next Chapter (working title), it was announced today by Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network. The iconic reality competition Fear Factor is coming back bigger, bolder, and more daring.
Dropped into an unforgiving, remote location, a group of strangers will live together under one roof, and face mind-blowing stunts, harrowing challenges, and a twisted game of social strategy where trust is fleeting — and fear is a weapon. Only one contestant will conquer all their fears and walk away with the massive grand prize.

When Fear Factor returns next season, there will be a brand-new host, who was just announced. Fear Factor was a breakout hit when it aired in the early 2000s. The original era was hosted by Joe Rogan, who was best known as a comedian but is now a hugely popular and controversial podcast host. After its initial run on NBC, Fear Factor moved to MTV with Ludacris as the host. That iteration did not last nearly as long; MTV canceled it after two seasons. Now Fox is getting in on the revival excitement with Fear Factor: The Next Chapter season 1.
The new Fear Factor host is none other than Johnny Knoxville.
Fox announced that the new Fear Factor: The Next Chapter host is none other than Jackass star Johnny Knoxville, according to Variety. A premiere date hasn't been revealed yet, but the reboot will air in the 2025-2026 television season.

Knoxville is set to host Fear Factor: The Next Chapter for Fox. The network has teased that the new show will gather a group of strangers in an “unforgiving, remote location” as they must tackle “mind-blowing stunts and harrowing challenges” while also participating in a “twisted game of social strategy.” Casting is now open for all those ages 18 and above from the U.S. and Canada who wish to participate. The host of Fox’s updated version of Fear Factor is a real Jackass.
Johnny Knoxville, whose MTV show Jackass was, like Fear Factor, a boundary-pushing staple of 2000s reality TV, will host the rebooted series (fully titled Fear Factor: The Next Chapter) when it premieres during the 2025-26 season. He’ll step into the shoes of Joe Rogan, who hosted the first iteration of the show on NBC from 2001-06 and again in 2011-12, and Ludacris, who emceed MTV’s version of Fear Factor from 2017-18.

Fox’s newest iteration of “Fear Factor” will be hosted by Johnny Knoxville. The series is set to premiere during the broadcast network’s 2025-2026 season.
Knoxville is still best known for starring in and producing the “Jackass” franchise. Often seen as the leader of the crew, Knoxville was known for fearlessly jumping into stunts, often those that involved bodily harm. He’s also appeared in shows like ABC’s “The Prank Panel,” Hulu’s “Reboot,” Apple TV+’s “The Studio,” MTV’s “Ridiculousness” and the WWE. Johnny Knoxville, what is your stance when it comes to snacking on horse rectum and cow eyeball juice? Looks like we’re about to find out: the former star of the Jackass franchise has been tapped to emcee Fear Factor: The New Chapter for Fox.
The network announced in May that it is bringing back the show that first bowed in the aughts on NBC. Johnny Knoxville is no stranger to doing crazy stunts, thanks to his tenure on the long-running reality program “Jackass.” Now he’ll get to watch others take part in similar antics.
Knoxville will host a revival on Fox of the popular competition program “Fear Factor,” in which contestants would take on crazy assignments, such as jumping on to a moving vehicle or eating insects. In the new Fox version, a group of contestants will live together in a remote location, and grapple not only with dares and stunts but social-media challenges as well. The series, slated to be called “Fear Factor: The Next Chapter,” is set to premiere during Fox’s 2025-2026 season.
“When you reimagine a series as legendary as ‘Fear Factor,’ you need a host who is the epitome of daring charisma and spectacle, and that’s Johnny Knoxville personified,” said Sharon Levy, Chief Executive Officer, Endemol Shine North America...

During its original run on Fox, King of the Hill provided opportunities for performers from all over the Southern U.S. states: Beth Grant (Alabama); Trace Adkins (Louisiana); Diedrich Bader (Virginia); Mary Kay Place (Oklahoma); Stephen Root and Tom Petty (Florida); Johnny Knoxville and Lane Smith (Tennessee), and of course the contingent from Texas, including Peri Gilpin, Glenn Morshower, Johnny Hardwick, Jonathan Joss and Mike Judge. Somehow, though, a show that crossed over with 30 Rock for several years never booked the actor whose role as Kenneth the Page made him synonymous with the state of Georgia: Jack McBrayer.
Based on the evidence of a new clip from the revival season, that seems like it’s about to change.
In the scene, Hank (Judge) is visiting Dallas’ George W. Bush Library with his wife Peggy (Kathy Najimy), and their friends Nancy and Dale Gribble (Ashley Gardner and Toby Huss). The...

A sensitive, ground-breaking and haunting psychological horror/drama has almost as much artistic value as Johnny Knoxville giving himself a brain hemorrhage by trying to perform a magic trick for a charging bull.

Ana de Armas is returning the praise to Tom Cruise.
At Tuesday night’s premiere of “Ballerina” at the TLC Chinese Theater in Hollywood, star de Armas said it is “unbelievable” that Cruise made the effort to publicly endorse the film. She also made sure to emphasize that his support of cinema does not begin and end with the “John Wick” spinoff.
“You know what, he supports every movie,” de Armas told Variety‘s Marc Malkin. “He really wants the industry and cinema to do well and [wants] people going to the theaters. We’re working together, so he got to see ‘Ballerina’ and he actually really liked it. He loved the ‘John Wicks.'”
She continued, “It is very special that someone like him is supporting [‘Ballerina’]. It is really special in general to have other actors and people supporting each other. We can do well all together.”

Bam Margera exited the Jackass franchise amid controversy during the production of Jackass Forever, the fourth feature film of the franchise. Now feeling that the best days of Jackass are long gone, Margera has suggested that the franchise is finished, meaning that a potential fifth movie should be called something else. Margera even has a particular title in mind.
Margera was one of the original stars of the Jackass TV show that spawned the franchise, which also included his hit spinoff series, Viva La Bam. In 2020, Margera was terminated from Jackass Forever, and he subsequently filed a lawsuit, arguing that he was wrongfully fired. The two sides later reached a settlement, but the details were not disclosed. While the future of the franchise isn't entirely clear, Margera shared a new video on Instagram sharing his thoughts on a possible fifth film happening.

Per Deadline, Shudder and Independent Film Company have acquired U.S. rights to Whistle, with a wide theatrical release planned for the horror movie. The release update should delight fans of the horror genre, given that Shudder is the premier destination for all things horror, thriller, and supernatural. "Whistle is made with the same heart-on-sleeve, disenfranchised-teen-spirit found in my favorite genre movies that I grew up watching," said Hardy in a statement about the acquisition. Cannes is so brat.

The well-known ice cream brand, which has long posted up for high-profile activations during the festival, once again took over Palais Stephanie. This year, Magnum dedicated Thursday to a day of “unapologetic indulgence” as a way to celebrate the brand’s offerings and inspire “a new generation of pleasure seekers to ‘own the moment’ their way,” per official intel.

Brad Pitt was once kidnapped in public, and the police did not do anything despite getting several calls from concerned citizens. It happened in 2002 when he was simply lining up to buy at Pink’s Hot Dogs in Los Angeles. Everything went by so fast that the actor didn’t have time to run.
He was violently carried off and thrown inside a van. Some bystanders went to call the police while one guy tried to approach the vehicle to save Pitt. It was truly an intense encounter straight out of a movie scene, and that’s clearly what it was—a scripted skit.
Steve-o recalls the time they kidnapped Brad Pitt
It was the early 2000s, and prank shows were one of the most popular types of entertainment. What happened to Brad Pitt would be extremely controversial by today’s standards, but during those times, it was simply for fun.

Gal Gadot and Matthias Schoenaerts are to star in Ruin, a stark thriller set in the aftermath of the Second World War.
Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot uniting with the director of Disney’s live-action Mulan, working from a script by the writers of Marvel’s Eternals. It might sound as though we’re in for something glossy and multiplex ready, but the forthcoming Ruin will almost certainly be the complete opposite.
Written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo and first appearing on the 2017 Blacklist of unproduced screenplays, Ruin is set in the aftermath of Word War II. Germany, like large sections of Europe, lies in tatters. Against a backdrop of shattered buildings, hunger and unrest, a former Nazi soldier embarks on a mission to wipe out his own SS death squad team. He’s joined by an unlikely ally: a Jewish concentration camp survivor named Elsa.

Unfortunately for pretty much everyone, Jack Black is not joining the cast of the upcoming Weezer movie.
Rumors began to swirl that the Tenacious D musician was attached to the movie after frontman Rivers Cuomo, shared an AI-generated film poster on band’s Discord server. The poster features photos of Cuomo and Black, as well as the band, and reads: “Weezer costarring Jack Black.” Cuomo added in a caption, “Nope, it’s real.”

Update: It appears Rivers Cuomo was trolling, as a representative says Jack Black has not been cast in the Weezer movie.
Weezer revealed that they’re making a new “mockumentary”-style movie about their band while playing Coachella this month, and now, frontman Rivers Cuomo has seemingly confirmed that Jack Black will star in the film.
According to a screenshot from Weezer’s Discord (via Reddit), Cuomo shared the news with an AI-generated film poster depicting Cuomo and Black together and featuring the full band underneath them: “Weezer, costarring Jack Black” it reads. Cuomo captioned the post itself “nope, it’s real,” assumedly confirming that Black will appear in the film. The connection between Black and the group goes back decades, as Weezer and Black’s band Tenacious D toured together in 2001, and Black’s wife Tanya Haden played cello on Weezer’s 2003 cover of Green Day’s “Worry Rock.

Back in February 2025, when The Studio released its trailer for the Super Bowl, the audience was bewildered and amused at the scene that features Josh Hutcherson and Johnny Knoxville dealing with explosive diarrhea and zombies!
The hilarious clip was used as a teaser for the movie ‘Duhpocalypse’, a fictional movie within the show, and it immediately caught the eye of the audience, for being bold and satirical in its approach. In Episode 6, the movie is revisited but in a way of more subtle commentary on the amalgamation of art, trade, and deep-rooted societal issues.
Cashing on the shock value of a diarrhea explosion
In the latest episode of The Studio, Matt Remick, the infamous head of Continental Studios, along with his new girlfriend Sarah, who is a pediatric oncologist, visits a fundraiser. Sarah and her colleagues, all of whom are renowned doctors, take digs at Matt for how trivial his...

While playing at Coachella last weekend, frontman Rivers Cuomo let it slip that the band was working on a “Weezer movie back in L.A.” While he stopped short of divulging any other details, according to a report from film insider Jeff Sneider, the project is “mockumentary” described as a cross between Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. And none other than Keanu Reeves has reportedly been cast to play the villain in the film.
Reeves and Weezer actually go way back: the band’s first-ever public gig was opening for Reeves’ own group, Dogstar, in 1992. In 2024, the two bands reunited — this time with Dogstar opening for Weezer as they celebrated the 30th anniversary of The Blue Album. Apparently, Weezer and Reeves’ three-decade “rivalry” is a key part of the film’s plot.
Along with Reeves, the Weezer movie will reportedly star Juliette Lewis, Eric Andre,...
