(December 2006) Choreographed "Spring Awakening" musical by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, based on the play by Frank Wedekind on Broadway (Eugene O'Neill Theater, New York City, New York, USA).

(October 29 to December 7, 2008) He choreographed the musical, "Spring Awakening," at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Steven Sater wrote the book and lyrics. Duncan Sheik was composer. Frank Wedekind wrote the original play. Michael Mayer was director. Jared Stein was music director.

(December 13 to January 22, 2012) He and Jill Lewis wrote the book for the musical, "Fela!," in Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith presentation at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California with Sahr Ngaujah in the cast. Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was composer and lyricist and based on his life. He was also director and choreographer. Aaron Johnson was music director.

(April 26 to May 5, 2013) He directed and choreographed the musical, "Fela!," in a Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Stephen and Ruth Hendel presentation at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Jim Lewis and Bill T. Jones wrote the book. Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was composer, lyricist and based on his life. Jim Lewis wrote additional lyrics. Aaron Johnson and Jordan McLean wrote additional music. Jim Lewis, Stephen Hendel and he were developers.
