Waxmax, an indie horror film from writer-director Thomas J. Churchill, is now in production in Los Angeles, Deadline reports.

Frank Stallone (Hudson Hawk), Jon Abrahams (Scary Movie), Carlo Mendez (“Dexter: Original Sin”), Shar Jackson (“Moesha”), Scott Schwartz (A Christmas Story), Christiana Leucas (The Last Stand), Jody Quigley (Hijacked), and Sharna Burgess (“Dancing with the Stars”) star.

Anson Williams of Happy Days and Brian Austin Green of Beverly Hills, 90210 are teaming up to star in and produce the horror thriller The Three Killer Pigs, Deadline reports. Said to be an homage to Italian genre movies, the project is expected to start filming in Los Angeles at the beginning of next month.

Written and directed by Thomas J. Churchill, The Three Killer Pigs has the following synopsis: A local farmer is desperate and does the unthinkable in his attempt to get his precious livestock back. A blood oath is put in place when the killer pigs make their way back to where their nightmare began. Darkness shrouds the farmhouse and its occupants when the three piggies come home.

Twice a month Joe Lipsett will dissect a new Amityville Horror film to explore how the “franchise” has evolved in increasingly ludicrous directions. This is “The Amityville IP.”

With Amityville Uprising, Thomas J. Churchill joins illustrious company as the only director of three Amityville films.

After kicking off his run with Amityville Harvest (2020) which focused on a film crew interviewing a vampire, Churchill’s second entry was 2001’s “werewolf in a women’s half-way house” title Amityville Moon. Now he’s back for his third film in the “series,” a self-referential zombie outing.

What makes the new film intriguing is less the details of the plot – which include a chemical explosion at a military base with unleashes red acid rain on Amityville and reanimates the dead – but how the film acts as the last part of an unofficial Amityville trilogy.

In honor of last night Game of Thrones finale, TV Guide lists 16 important TV moments that happened on a toilet. (Spoiler warning, the reason why Game of Thrones is on the list is explained.)

There was a special guest star in this week’s Orphan Black. Midwife Alexis was played by Kathryn Alexandre, who also functions as Tatiana Maslany‘s double. Series co-creator John Fawcett talked with EW and said that wasn’t the first role they considered for Alexandre. “Back at the beginning of the Season 1 asked her to come in and read for Gracie and then we kind of realized that part was just a little too big to cast Kathryn because there was interaction between Gracie and Helena and that was just going to turn into a mess if we cast her. So we were looking for a smaller part that we could give her to get her on camera.

The 25th Annual Producers Guild of America Awards were handed out last night, with Gravity and 12 Years a Slave tying for the guild's top honor, the The Darryl F. Zanuck Award for 'Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures'. Some guilds do not allow for ties to happen, and this is the first time in the PGA's history that it has happened for their biggest award.

A couple days after announcing that Rj Mitte (Breaking Bad) will recur as a college student paralyzed from a snowboarding accident, the ABC Family drama has cast Max Adler and Sandra Bernhard in key recurring roles.

According to Deadline, the actor (best known for portraying Dave Karofsky on Glee) will come on board the premiere as Tank, a fraternity brother Bay befriends in her college art class.

Bernhard (The Neighbors, Drop Dead Diva) will also debut on the Season 3 opener and play Teresa Lubarsky, the professor of this art class.

Look for Switched at Birth to return with new episodes in January.

Garth Ennis has been a highly respected comics writer for well over 20 years now, creating some of the most badass storylines for several of the best modern genre-related comic series including Preacher, The Punisher, The Boys and Hellblazer.

Now the acclaimed storyteller is taking his career in a brand-new direction: writing and directing, and Ennis celebrated the world premiere of his short film Stitched during the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con Independent Film Festival last week.

Avatar Press and Mischief Maker Studios proudly announce that legendary comic book writer Garth Ennis will be premiering his short film Stitched at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday evening, July 21, at 8:15 pm in Room 6De. Stitched will also become an ongoing monthly comic series.

Featuring Ennis' debut as a filmmaker, Stitched blends supernatural horror with a contemporary war story, creating a terrifying landscape.

The fifteen-minute long film is written and directed by Garth Ennis, best known as the writer of such best-selling comic books as Preacher, The Punisher, The Boys, and Crossed. A Mischief Maker Studios production, Stitched was produced by Brian Pulido, Francisca Pulido (The Graves), and Ed Polgardy (Laid To Rest). AMC has debuted the second trailer for Breaking Bad, which debuts its fourth season with Episode 4.01: El Topo on Sunday, July 17 at 10 Pm Et. HollywoodNews.com: Bristol Palin’s ex, Levi Johnston, seems to think that he would be the perfect guest for Oprah’s show.

Levi’s manager, Tank Jones, revealed that he is very interested in being on her show, states RadarOnline.com. “He wants to tell his side of the story,” Jones commented, after stating that both Sarah Palin and Bristol have been on the show.

Levi reportedly wants to be on Oprah to prove that he is a good guy and has just gotten a bad reputation from everything that has gone on.

Now that Bristol Palin is no longer Levi Johnston's fiancee, she is free to voice her concerns about Levi's qualifications for his Wasilla, Alaska Mayor run in 2012. In a new issue of Us Weekly, the daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said, "I never knew he had political aspirations."

"I'm glad that Levi has not given up on completing his education and is looking for steady employment," Bristol, who has 1-year-old son Tripp Easton Mitchell with former Playgirl model Levi, went on. Although Bristol doubted Levi's capability to run for Mayor, Levi's rep Tank Jones insisted, "He's going to take political college courses. He's going to really deal with the issues."

Levi Johnston, the guy who made headlines for having a baby with Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol Palin while they were teens, is gearing up a reality show that would bring into light his passion in politics. "Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office" is a look into Johnston's struggle to achieve a position as the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.

Speaking of the deal he struck with producers Scott Stone and David Weintraub of Stone and Co., Johnston said, "The more I think about it and look into it, I think there's a possibility we can make it happen." He admitted to not leaning fully to the idea at the first place but later felt "it's something that I want to do."

On why he chose to have it all on camera, Johnston reasoned, "It's hard to figure me out. You've got to follow me around. I'm very different.

The 19-year-old daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin recently split from Johnston – the father of her young son – who has reportedly claimed their break-up is due to a “misunderstanding”.

According to Tmz.com, Johnston’s manager Tank Jones doesn’t believe Palin knows the full truth and said the split was caused by “misinformation”.

Palin reportedly broke up with Johnston after he told her that he might have got one of his ex-girlfriends pregnant, although he denies the claims.

Tmz.com has reported that Palin has taken their 19-month-old son Tripp back to live at her parents’ home in Alaska.

HollywoodNews.com: As Bristol Palin announced her breakup with Levi Johnston, he is now responding to her allegations of the way he has behaved.

Levi allegedly believes that the whole breakup is a “misunderstanding,” reports TMZ. Tank Jones, Levi’s manager, has stated that Levi was not involved in a music video mocking the Palin family and does expect that the two will get back together.

Levi is “not happy” about the split and believes that Bristol does not have her story straight.
