The athlete was completing a training run at the Park City Mountain Resort on Tuesday when she crashed and landed on her head.

CEO of the Canadian freestyle team, Peter Judge, tells Toronto's Globe and Mail, "She landed a trick down in the bottom end of the pipe and kind of bounced from her feet to her head. It wasn't anything that looked like a catastrophic fall, so I'm a bit mystified."

The 29 year old was airlifted to a Salt Lake City hospital, where she is currently listed in critical condition.
