Gustav Kampendonk was born on 30 May 1909 in Hoengen, Germany. He was a writer, known for Die Drei von der Tankstelle (1955), Willy, der Privatdetektiv (1960) and The Strangler of Blackmoor Castle (1963). He died on 29 June 1966 in West Berlin, West Germany.
