To celebrate the release of the brand-new 4K remastered Uhd and Blu-ray discs of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, as well as the third film – Bill & Ted Face The Music – due for release later this month – we took our own trip back in time to chat to the princesses that stole our heroes hearts back in 1989.

Chatting to us about the film’s re-release, as well as they brewing excitement for the long-awaited third installment, Diane Franklin (Princess Elizabeth) and Kimberley Kates (Princess Joanna) tell us about their memories of the film, how re-shoots changed their ending with the boys, why they aren’t part of the new film and what life has been like post-excellent adventure.

The cast for Bill & Ted Face the Music continues to grow as the excellent sequel adds its princesses. Erinn Hayes will play Ted's wife, Princess Elizabeth and Jayma Mays will play Princess Joanna, Bill's wife. This comes after it was just announced that Amy Stoch and Hal Landon Jr. are back to reprise their roles as Missy and Chet Logan, respectively. Beck Bennett has been cast as Ted's younger brother Deacon.

Deacon was originally played by Frazier Bain in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. He didn't act much after that role in 1989 and went onto become a producer. Deacon didn't actually appear on screen in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, but was mentioned in the Easter Bunny scene, where Ted steals his younger brother's Easter basket.

World War II thriller “Air Strike” has been canceled after Chinese actress Fan Bingbing went missing amid with tax evasion charges.

According to the Associated Press, “Air Strike” director Xiao Feng posted on his Weibo miniblog on Wednesday that although he worked on the film for eight years, it was “time to let go.”

The thriller (also known as “Unbreakable Spirit” in China) that also stars Bruce Willis and Adrien Brody, was set to have an Oct. 26 release in both China and the United States.

With John Wick Chapter 2 hitting theaters this weekend, Keanu Reeves has been making the press rounds to promote the movie, when talk of another highly-anticipated project came up, the long-awaited Bill & Ted 3. Back in April, Alex Winter, who starred in the first two Bill & Ted movies with Keanu Reeves, teased that shooting may begin soon, but that never happened, while another report from April teasing that the movie may be shot and set in London, featuring a number of important British political figures from the past. Fans have been hoping and praying for years that the long-awaited Bill & Ted 3 will get off the ground some day, with original Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter set to return as the title characters. We've known for quite some time that the script by Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson has already been written, with Alex Winter teasing earlier this month that production may either begin at the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017. Today we have a report from Metro.uk, with an unidentified source claiming that the story brings the Wyld Stallyns to London.

"The script is already written for the third film and much of it is set in the UK. The whole film is going to have a huge British feel. They'll time-travel through London and meet historical figures, meaning the Queen and Winston Churchill could get cameos."

After a year of planning, the schedule for the West Coast edition of Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors convention is ready to be unveiled. The event will to be held this coming April 17-19 (three monstrous days and over 100 guests!) at the Los Angeles Convention Center (1201 South Figueroa).

All guests/events listed here are tentative. More stars are still joining the fun at this late stage, so expect lots of surprises all weekend long. And for the first time ever, we’ve added a second track of programming that will take place concurrently with the main track on Saturday and Sunday! Director Toby Wilkins, whose first film Splinter wowed fans last year, has joined the lineup of the next West Coast edition of Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors convention, to be held April 17-19 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (1201 South Figueroa). Wilkins will preview his latest directorial effort, Ghost House Pictures’ The Grudge 3, at the convention, with cast members Johanna Braddy and Scary Movie 4’s Beau Mirchoff (both pictured).

Genre heavyweight Ron Perlman has joined the lineup of the next West Coast edition of Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors convention, to be held April 17-19 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (1201 South Figueroa). Besides his starring turns in the Hellboy movies and on the cult TV series Beauty And The Beast, Perlman’s long career has included roles in Cronos, Alien Resurrection, The Last Winter, The Name Of The Rose, Desperation, Masters Of Horror (John Carpenter’s Pro-Life), Sleepwalkers, The City Of Lost Children, Star Trek: Nemesis and the upcoming I Sell The Dead, Season Of The Witch and The Devil’S Tomb.

Legendary femme fatale Sybil Danning has joined the lineup of the next West Coast edition of Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors convention, to be held April 17-19 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (1201 South Figueroa). Danning’s long career in exploitation has included roles in Howling II, Amazon Women On The Moon, The Tomb, Reform School Girls, Chained Heat, Luigi Cozzi’s Hercules and Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Werewolves Of The SS trailer from Grindhouse.

The Austrian actress recently joined the cast of The Lair, the hit here! vampire series that returns to the cable network’s lineup in August. “I am in five of 13 episodes of season three of The Lair,” Danning tells Fango. “I loved working with my dear friend Fred [Olen Ray, the show’s creator] and all the people on the Lair set, but I cannot mention anything about my character whatsoever! Babysitter Wanted revolves around a tormented and tortured young girl whose only concern is the safety of herself and the child she is babysitting. Jenny McCarthy, who most recently appeared in Scary Movie 3, has signed a multipicture deal with Beverly Hills Film Studios. The first picture will be Dirty Love, a romantic comedy written by and starring McCarthy. John Asher directs, with BHFS' BJ Davis and Kimberley Kates producing. The follow-up film in the deal will be Rollin, a teenage comedy set to start production in February. Other films the company has in development include Murder on the Hudson, a psychological cop thriller starring Scott Glenn and Charles Durning, and Murder, to be produced by John D. Schofield.
