Vicky revealed that his father, now a renowned action director, faced severe hardships in Punjab before moving to Mumbai in 1978. Despite having a Master’s degree in English literature, Sham Kaushal was jobless and once even contemplated suicide. Concerned for his well-being, Vicky’s grandfather sent Sham to Mumbai with a friend.

Director Sanjay Gupta and Kaabil‘s lead actor Hrithik Roshan both wanted the action sequences to look as instantaneous as possible. Therefore, no rehearsals were under taken prior to the shooting of the scenes. The actor shared that doing action sequences becomes even more difficult as he is playing a blind character.

“The action, of course, was difficult because I couldn’t make eye-contact, I didn’t know where the punch was coming from. I didn’t know where the ditch was over which I had to jump.
