Demi Moore thinks Channing Tatum is "super talented," and the actress would "be curious to see what he decides to do" with a potential Ghost (1990) remake. Moore acknowledges some films are best left untouched, and others benefit from reinterpretation. Tatum currently has the rights to Ghost, but he hasn't reached out to Moore about possibly appearing in the remake; Moore portrayed Molly Jensen in the original motion picture.
Theres still a bright light looming for those who havent crossed over to the other side yet, at least where Channing Tatums possible remake of the romantic runaway hit Ghost (1990) is concerned. Whoopi Goldberg, an Academy member and Oscar winner, doesn't believe there were any snubs in the nominations for Best Director and Best Actress categories. Goldberg explains that voting for Best Picture is done by the entire Academy, not just the elites, and it is subjective. Some co-hosts on The View questioned why Margot Robbie was excluded for Best Actress while Ryan Gosling received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor, suggesting that Oscar voters missed the point of the movie.
Barbie has been at the center of much talk following the Academy Award nominations after filmmaker Greta Gerwig was snubbed in the Best Director category. At the same time, the film's star Margot Robbie was also snubbed for Best Actress. The slight has sparked a lot of discourse from fans of the film and some cinephiles, but actress and Egot recipient, Whoopi Goldberg, doesn't believe the Oscars snubbed the film at all.
