Jaipur, Feb 6 (Ians) Around 17 guests have arrived so far from Siddharth Malhotra’s family to attend his wedding to Kiara Advani.

Siddharth came with his father Sunil Malhotra, mother Rima Malhotra, brother Harshad Malhotra and others at around 8 p.m. on February 4.

On February 6, his uncle Jaideep Bhalla, aunt Eraseli, grandmother Harcharan Bhalla, niece Avani, aunt Ambika Hora, uncle Ashok Hora, cousins Rohan Malhotra, Momina Noor, Ishita Bhardwaj, Vaibhav Bhardwaj, Arjun Hora, Arjun’s wife Zoya Hora, nephew Adhiraj Malhotra arrived at the wedding.

Shruti Haasan's look from her upcoming Bollywood film Gabbar Is Back has been revealed and she will be seen as a Marathi mulgi in the film.

The film's official handle shared Shruti's first look on a microblogging site writing, "Meet our Maharashtrian mulgi, played by the beautiful @shrutihaasan We love her traditional look, do you?"

For the first time, Shruti will be seen portraying the role of a Maharashtrian. Wearing a nauvari saree (traditional saree) and a nathani (nose ring), she is looking very beautiful. Coincidentally, Shruti's mother, Sarika is also half Maharastrian.

Gabbar Is Back also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead. Directed by Krish, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shabina Khan, the film is set to release on 1st May, 2015.

It is official. Akshay Kumar's next release is now called Gabbar Is Back. Though intermittently there were talks of the film being titled Main Gabbar, the idea has been quashed and the one that has made the cut is Gabbar Is Back.

Confirms our source, "To begin with, the working title of the film was Gabbar. However, due to certain reasons, it couldn't be finalized. The idea was to get something really catchy and there were quite a few options being thrown around. Since the film's publicity material is set to be unveiled, it was about time that a striking title was finalized. This is when Gabbar Is Back was proposed and the makers had no hesitation in green lighting it."

On Tuesday evening it was a surprise party thrown by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's sister Bela Sehgal and his friend producer-dress designer Shabina Khan at a suburban restaurant to celebrate Bhansali's Padma Shri. But the biggest surprise was the appearance of Shah Rukh Khan at the party held at the eatery Nido in Khar Mumbai. Shah Rukh not only showed up to congratulate his Devdas director, he stayed on for quite a while. Says a prominent invitee, "It was quite a night. The Prabhu Dheva directed film Rowdy Rathore that released in 2012 featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, was a turning point in Akshay's career. Ending his dry spell at the box office, Rowdy Rathore kick started Akshay's journey to the coveted Rs. 100 crore club. Now two years later, we hear that the film which was a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu, is all set to have a sequel. In fact the sequel will yet again have Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shabina Khan teaming up to produce the same. The decision to make a sequel to the film was taken last week and once again the film will top line Akshay as the main lead and be directed by Prabhu Dheva. However the rest of the cast is yet to be locked. The filming of Rowdy Rathore 2 will commence only next year. Currently the makers are in the process of locking a script for the film.

A few weeks ago Karan Johar hosted a quiet dinner for a handful of friends at his Khar apartment. Specualtions were rife about what it could all be about especially with Ekta Kapoor, Shabina Khan, Manish Malhotra and Ayan Mukerji were among those invited. Says a friend, "Kareena has done just 3-4 item songs in her career, and all for friends. After the 'Fevicol Se' number in Dabangg 2, she is no mood get into the groove for an item number."

When her close friend Shabina Khan asked her to do an item song in "Gabbar", which stars Akshay Kumar, Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raja and Sonu Sood, her immediate response was to say "no".

But Shabina, co-producer of "Gabbar", requested Kareena to break her no-item policy.

When asked, Kareena said: "I did the item song in 'Gabbar' for a friend. I couldn't say no to Shabina."

Akshay Kumar starrer Gabbar is yet again in a fix as Shraddha Kapoor will not be playing the lead actress anymore in the film. The reason behind the actress' exit is said to be date issues. With a lot of actresses vying for the role, it was Shraddha who had been finalized for the film. Gabbar slated to go on floors on January 8, 2014, and Akshay Kumar has given bulk dates to the producer for the same. However, during that time span, Shraddha will be busy shooting for Haider with Shahid Kapoor. Hence, Shabina recently stated that she has asked Shraddha to move out of the project in order to avoid a date clash. Gabbar is also co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and will be directed by Tamil director Krish.

Putting an end to all the rumours about Kareena Kapoor Khan playing lead opposite Akshay Kumar in the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shabina Khan film Gabbar, it was recently revealed that she will only be doing a special song in the film. The film which is a Hindi remake of the 2002 Tamil blockbuster Ramanna will have Shraddha Kapoor playing the female lead. Also, the film will be directed by Radhakrishna Jagarlamundi. The film revolves around a group of students lead by a professor who opts for violent means to fight a corrupt system. Gabbar will majorly be shot in different locations in Mumbai and is slated to go on floor on January 5, 2014.

It was meant to be a grand reunion of the Rowdy Rathore club.
