Miroslaw Kijowicz was born on 8 May 1929 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, USSR [now St. Petersburg, Russia]. He was a director and writer, known for Cages (1967), Niebieska kula (1969) and The Water Babies (1978). He died on 28 October 1999 in Wyszków, Mazowieckie, Poland.
