This latest look at Elemental puts main characters Ember and Wade at its center, with the pair attempting to navigate their way around Element City, a metropolis inhabited by personifications of the four main elements, fire, water, earth, and air.

The “Dune” prequel series in the works at HBO Max has added five new series regulars to its cast, Variety has learned.

Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Faoileann Cunningham, Aoife Hinds and Chloe Lea have all been cast in the series, which is currently titled “Dune: The Sisterhood.” They join previously announced cast members Emily Watson and Shirley Henderson as well as Indira Varma in the series, which hails from Legendary Television.

The show is set 10,000 years before the events of “Dune” and is based on the novel “Sisterhood of Dune” by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Per the official logline, the show “follows the Harkonnen Sisters (Watson and Henderson) as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect known as the Bene Gesserit.”

Boussnina will play Princess Ynez, described as “an independent young princess dealing with the pressures of her responsibility as heir to the Golden Lion Throne.

If any DC-themed animated movie to drop in 2019 offers the best of both worlds, it has to be Justice League vs. The Fatal Five. The reason I say that is because while it does chart new territory that I’ll detail momentarily, it’s a love letter to those of us who adored the sheer perfection that was Justice League Unlimited. Believe it or not, even the film’s score mirrors what we once heard from the beloved animated series. Rest assured that you’ll feel right at home as soon as you hear a well-placed electric guitar accompany Superman’s first display of heroics.

Right now, I’m guessing that you’re champing at the bit to ask me if indeed this flick is in continuity with Jlu, as opposed to Batman and Harley Quinn, which really only shared visual similarities with The New Batman Adventures.

If you haven't caught up with Season 1 of PlayStation Network's Powers, there will be some big spoilers below, so read on at your own risk. The Playstation Blog has released the first trailer for Powers Season 2, which doesn't have a release date set at this time. Executive producer Brian Michael Bendis released a statement regarding the new trailer, while teasing that the second season will be much different than the first. The coolest thing about this cast list is that it's populated by veteran voice actors and not simply sprinkled liberally with television and film actors putting in a couple of hours in the booth. "Dishonored" had a great cast of performers turning in one of the more uninspired collection of voice overs in recent memory.

Having been born in 1980, I consider myself to be a true product of 1980s entertainment, whether it came across in the medium of film, cartoons, comics or live-action TV. Since that golden age, there’ve been very few shows that have effectively modernized the classics from my childhood. Sure, Transformers graced the big screen, but it didn’t appeal to the youthful fondness I once held for the franchise. But in 2010, when G.I. Joe Renegades first launched, something about the series struck a chord within. After only watching just a few episodes of the show, time gave way, and it wasn’t until the Volume One DVD found it’s way into my hands that I was reminded about how much I love this series. We’ve been given this absolutely fantastic extended featurette which is simply George Clooney and Director Alexander Payne talking about The Descendants but it’s so much more than that as they touch on their own experiences on movies and some of their favourite actors and experiences in their own careers.

The featurettes 12 minute featurette focuses on 4 main areas, Directing Drama and Comedy, Acting and Character and Shooting Style but Clooney gives us some great insights into working on ER and it’s so nice to hear both of them talking about their own little experiences on different sets and what they obviously love to do.

Almost a decade ago, actor George Clooney met with director Alexander Payne at a breakfast joint near Warner Bros. studios in Los Angeles to talk about playing a soon-to-be-married cad in his then-upcoming film “Sideways.”

“He didn’t hire me, which I am still angry about,” says Mr. Clooney. But he finally got his chance to work with Mr. Payne in his next film, “The Descendants,” released today by Fox Searchlight.

Now in its 36th year, the Toronto International Film Festival announced a selection of films in the 2011 Galas and Special Presentations programmes. The selection comprises 10 Galas and 43 Special Presentations, including 31 World Premieres.

The festival has become a hot spot for a number of big films - and this year is no exception. The Brad Pitt film Moneyball will debut at the festival, as well as, Butter starring Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman; A Dangerous Method, starring Keira Knightley, Michael Fassbender, and Viggo Mortensen, and The Ides of March from George Clooney, who also stars in the film.

The 10-day festival will run from September 8 to 18 and feature world premieres from a number of esteemed directors including, Cameron Crowe, Roland Emmerich, Francis Ford Coppola, Marc Foster, Alexander Payne, Sarah Polley, Jennifer Westfeldt, and Wang Xiaoshual.

The Toronto International Film Festival is once again proving to be a major stop on the festival circuit. The announcement was released yesterday of 53 titles, including 31 world premieres, and some of the biggest names of the year are among them. Most, if not all, of the films I am most looking forward to will be in attendance, and with the festival just around the corner, the time to get excited for these offerings is now.

It looks like we're in for another great year at the Toronto International Film Festival, and I'm excited to be just a little bit closer to the action this time around. The very first titles from the 2011 fest were announced today, and there were definitely a lot of familiar faces among the 10 Galas and 43 Special Presentations. After Cannes kicks off in the spring, Venice and Toronto are the two biggest kickstarters for the 2011 awards race. This morning the latter festival have announced their initial line-up, and it is fantastic. Toronto International Film Festival will run from September 8th to 18th, and you can see the full line-up below, but I’m most excited for new films from David Cronenberg, Steve McQueen, Sarah Polly, Francis Ford Coppola, Oren Moverman and many more. Whenever George Clooney is not playing a slick cool guy -- or a handsome but bumbling dimwit in one of the Coen Brothers’ films -- he generally settles into what one could call “troubled man mode” (see: Solaris, Michael Clayton, Syriana).
