Emilia Clarke Wraps Shooting on Han Solo Movie
Ron Howard at an event for Return to Mayberry (1986)
Once again, Ron Howard has posted a new behind-the-scenes photograph from the set of the Han Solo movie bidding farewell to one of the actors. Past farewell pictures from Howard's social media acoounts have recently included Paul Bettany, who is playing an unknown character and Donald Glover, who is playing Lando Calrissian. Emilia Clarke is the latest actor to have officially completed work on the Star Wars spin-off and one would imagine that the movie is just ready to head into post-production in the next few weeks.

The news of Clarke's completion come to us courtesy of Ron Howard's Twitter account where he posted a picture of himself and the Game of Thrones actress. Howard included a caption that reads.

"Emilia Clarke has wrapped filming on the untitled Han Solo movie. She's given us a terrifically strong and exciting character. Fun 2 work with, 2!"

Star Wars: Emilia Clarke’s Character In The Han Solo Film Revealed
For a film that’s been under the microscope of the media for the past few months, there’s still an awful lot we don’t know about the upcoming Han Solo movie. Perhaps that’s for the best, considering how much is likely changing due to the regime change from Phil Lord and Chris Miller to Ron Howard. We know that Michael K. Williams got the chop from the film as a result, but of course, there are some things that are sure to remain the same, including (hopefully) the main cast.

Has The Name Of Emilia Clarke’s Character In The Han Solo Prequel Been Revealed?
Ever since she was added to the cast last year, Star Wars fans have been eagerly awaiting any reveals about Emilia Clarke’s mystery role in the Han Solo prequel. The Game of Thrones actress has made sure to choose her words carefully in interviews, with practically the only comment she’s made about the character being: “All I can say is that she’s awesome.” Now, however, we might’ve just discovered her name.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Michael K. Williams – who also revealed that he’s been cut from the movie – briefly mentioned that his character had “a link between Han Solo and Emilia’s character, Kira.” This quote was then picked up by Making Star Wars, who claim that their sources have informed them that the individual Clarke’s playing is named “Kura” instead. While the spelling differs, the fact that a similar name comes...

TVLine's Performer of the Week: Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany
Sarah Herron in Bachelor in Paradise (2014)
The Performer | Tatiana Maslany

The Show | Orphan Black

The Episode | “To Right the Wrongs of Many” (Aug. 12, 2017)

The Performance | For her final Orphan Black performance, Maslany pulled off yet another magic trick: She helped deliver two babies (as Sarah) and gave birth (as Helena) at the same time. (She also welcomed little Kira into the world via intercut flashbacks, for the record.) Even after five seasons of watching Maslany do the seemingly impossible, the chemistry that the actress was able to create with herself as Sarah coached Helena through the birthing process was as astounding as the idea of human clones itself.

Teen Wolf Review: “A Promise To The Dead” (Season 4, Episode 11)
Teen Wolf managed to squeeze a first date into the penultimate episode between run-ins with the berserkers, which added a little teen normalcy to the pending doom, but they had a little trouble making it through the evening at that pace.

Although Scott (Tyler Posey) and Kira (Arden Cho) skipped right past dinner and a movie (Star Wars, selected personally by Stiles), and opted for a more risque activity, their intimate evening is cut short when Kate (Jill Wagner) and her supernatural bodyguard crash the party. It looks like these two aren’t cut out for a “normal” relationship after all, and somehow that shouldn’t come as any real surprise to regular viewers of the show.

Peter’s (Ian Bohen) plan to take Scott out of the equation is almost a success story, until Kate decides to insert her own agenda in the master plan. Instead of taking him out in the loft,...

Teen Wolf Review: “Monstrous” (Season 4, Episode 10)
Teen Wolf finally revealed the identity of the benefactor on last week’s episode, but that didn’t signify the end of the excitement. Tonight’s episode, “Monstrous” started out with a fast paced game of hide and seek with two potential new victims of the deadpool and an onslaught of eager assassins, and kept the momentum going with forty-two minutes of heart-pounding excitement.

Kira (Arden Cho) returned to the screen this week, forging passed some of her weaker traits and saving the day her newly honed blade skills. It’s not that Kira is altogether a weak character, she just seems to embrace her awkward tendencies more often than not. It’s borderline adorable when it comes to her relationship with Scott (Tyler Posey), but it doesn’t extend further than that.

However, the most unorthodox, yet beautiful relationship we’ve seen on Teen Wolf as of late comes...

Teen Wolf Review: “Perishable” (Season 4, Episode 9)
Teen Wolf left off last week with a fairly large ‘what just happened’ moment. Lydia (Holland Roden) discovered that her grandmother was responsible for the code that the benefactor uses to communicate with the assassins, and it put a giant question mark over the entire situation. To make matters even more suspicious, Scott (Tyler Posey) realized that the person responsible for confirming the supernatural deaths in order for a pay out to happen must also be a banshee – thus working remotely. But, Teen Wolf completely blew our minds tonight when they revealed who the benefactor really was, and I have to say it, I didn’t see that one coming.

In “Perishable,” the deadpool situation gets a bit out of hand. Assassins are coming out of the woodwork for a chance at scoring the excessive paydays that come along with killing any one of the show’s main characters. It...

Teen Wolf Review: “Time Of Death” (Season 4, Episode 8)
Teen Wolf has created a general grey area when it comes to death. In “Time of Death,” fans watch for the second time as Scott (Tyler Posey) takes his turn advancing the narrative by faking his own. Last season, he was one of three characters who temporarily died to ascertain the location of the Nemeton in order to save innocent lives and take down the Darach. On tonight’s episode, the plan was more or less the same – draw out the benefactor and save all the local supernaturals who haven’t already been crossed off the deadpool list.

This episode had a lot of layers to it. Not only did viewers get to experience the present scenario, but they also got a peak into the lead-up, along with a few pressing peripheral plot points – Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) learning to adapt to a life without the benefit of his supernatural assets,...

Teen Wolf Review: “Weaponized” (Season 4, Episode 7)
Once again, Teen Wolf attempted to showcase some aspect of teenage normalcy, this time in the form of a standardized test. It isn’t the first time this season we’ve seen the writers revert back to average teen activity to anchor the story in reality. In the season four opener, the focus was on lacrosse. It took the show back to its basics and reminded viewers of where the characters started off. A few episodes back, we saw the core group head back to class after a considerable absence for personal reasons following the death of one of the main characters. Although that sentiment didn’t last long, it’s been an admirable attempt to establish some semblance of relatability within the narrative.

Two teenage boys in conflict over what to do with a gym bag full of cash reinforces this idea of normal teenage behavior. On one hand,...

Orphan Black Recap: Brave Little Girls
Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black (2013)
We’re nearing the end of Orphan Black‘s sophomore season — nooo! — and this Saturday’s episode brought us a Helena showdown and one step closer toward saving Cosima.

Last week’s trans outing got some criticism in the comments, but for me, this was the first episode of the season that didn’t quite work. It wasn’t bad — because even a less-than-successful episode of Orphan Black is still an interesting one — but it didn’t have the momentum and progress you’d expect from a penultimate hour.

Teen Wolf Season 4 Premiere Date and Teaser Videos Plus Who's In and Who's Out
Now that the dust has settled from last night's "Teen Wolf" Season 3 finale, it's time to take stock of who's still standing and who we have to say a permanent good-bye to. But first, how about a sneak peek of Season 4?

As the below promo indicates, the fourth season of "Teen Wolf" kicks off on June 23rd. Per E! one actor who won't be returning is Daniel Sharman (Isaac).

Following the shocking deaths of Allison (Crystal Reed) last week and Aiden (Max Carver) in last night's finale, executive producer Jeff Davis revealed to E! that Sharman was looking for a change. "Daniel Sharman came to us, much like Crystal did, and said that he wanted to go out for pilot season and for movies and try something new," Davis said. But he also requested that Isaac not be killed off.

"He specifically asked that we not kill off Isaac so...

Teen Wolf Season Finale Review: “The Divine Move” (Season 3, Episode 24)
Teen Wolf wrapped up the second half of its third season pretty much in the same fashion as the first. The Divine Move started with chaos, leaned toward happily ever after somewhere just passed the midway point, and wrapped up with a nicely loaded cliffhanger that’s sure to keep fans hooked until the show returns with all new episodes this June.

Even though the shock of Allison’s (Crystal Reed) death left fans with mixed feelings, it had a somber effect on the remaining characters. The loss of such a major protagonist in the series was both appropriate for the story being told and heart-wrenching at the same time. The death toll in Beacon Hills being at a record high, Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack are hardly unfamiliar with the emotions attached to loss. At this point in their development, it must almost seem like second nature.

Handling...

Teen Wolf Review: “De-Void” (Season 3, Episode 22)
As Teen Wolf continues to wind down its third season, the narrative has slowed way down. The second half of this season has pulled focus away from Deucalion (Gideon Emery) and his Alpha pack, and landed on Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) – an unfortunate side effect of the sacrifice he made to save his father from Ms. Blake (Haley Webb) and her revenge plot. Stiles has been a central character in the story all along, but has suddenly found himself the center of attention, in the worst possible way. The Nogitsune that has possessed him has taken over his life, and things are about to get even weirder – if that’s possible on a show where weird is the baseline for business as usual.

Stiles has always been a physically weak character. The infusion of the Nogitsune has not only altered him mentally, but it’s added an element to the...

Orphan Black Gets An Exhilarating Full Trailer For Season Two
One of my favorite shows from last year, and certainly the newcomer I got most excited about, was BBC America’s sci-fi drama Orphan Black, a sharply written and brilliantly acted show about a petty thief named Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany, possibly the most talented actress working on television right now) who witnesses a woman who looks exactly like her committing suicide. As she investigates, Sarah uncovers a network of clones and learns that the shadowy scientists responsible for their creation are also more than willing to get their hands dirty if it means continuing their experiments.

Season one ended last June, and now BBC America is getting ready for the show’s sophomore outing (premiering next month) with a minute-long trailer. Check it out below:

The intense trailer focuses heavily on the battle between the main clones (Sarah, soccer mom Alison Hendrix and scientist Cosima Niehaus) and evil ‘Proclone’ Rachel,...

Teen Wolf Review: “The Fox And The Wolf” (Season 3, Episode 21)
Teen Wolf used the majority of tonight’s episode to build up the momentum as we approach the season three finale. The question of whether or not Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) will make it through the Nogitsune mayhem still loomed over all the drama, but we are no closer to an answer than we were last week. The only thing The Fox and the Wolf accomplished, besides extraordinary visuals, was giving us a firm grasp of the backstory.

Kira (Arden Cho) may have been looking for answers, but she probably didn’t expect to have her mind blown with the explicit details of her mother and a former flame – or, with the revelation that her mom is almost 900 years old. Up until this point, the relationship that Kira’s mother had to the current mishap remained a fairly substantial mystery. It was clear that she was involved and it was...

Teen Wolf Review: “Letharia Vulpina” (Season 3, Episode 19)
The thing about Teen Wolf that you should always remember is that it is constantly improving. The series started off strong and has continued to build on that solid foundation over the years. Every episode pushes the limits a bit further and now, this character-driven story has made one of its own the greatest villain yet.

Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) has always been the voice of reason. So what happens when there’s a voice inside of him that can’t be reasoned with? It’s still unclear what the tricky Nogitsune intends to do, or why he chose Stiles as his host, but it’s not looking good for our young friend – or anyone around him. So far he’s been responsible for a string of violent acts that can only be marginally traced back to him. He’s almost killed dozens of innocent bystanders (Ok, some of them...

Teen Wolf Review: “Riddled” (Season 3, Episode 18)
Teen Wolf offered up a dismal episode last night highlighting Stiles’ (Dylan O’Brien) further decent into mental instability. The first half conquered his delusional mind, and the second part covered his possession by an evil spirit. And in the meantime, all the other characters ran around town looking like chickens with their heads cut off trying to figure out what was really going on. If it wasn’t for Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) and his modicum of rational thought, there would have been no salvation.

There’s been a lot of speculation as to whether Stiles will make it through this season. The closer we get to the finale, the less likely that looks like it will happen. At the most basic level, Teen Wolf is a show about two best friends – Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles. Even after Scott was bitten and turned into a werewolf, their friendship was...

Teen Wolf Review: “Silverfinger” (Season 3, Episode 17)
Teen Wolf offered up an intense night of supernatural drama in Silverfinger, but the storyline took a disappointing turn when the curtains closed and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) was left standing awkwardly in the spotlight. This show has been without a real antagonist since we entered into the second half of the season, leaving Duecalion (Gideon Emery) and Ms. Blake (Haley Webb) behind. Now, however, we finally have one. Unfortunately though, it’s someone we actually like.

All eyes were on Scott (Tyler Posey) and Kira (Arden Cho) going into this episode of Teen Wolf, and not without cause. When we left off last week, these two characters were the obvious choice for the spirit ninjas and their marked mission. They’d already made their way through most of the pack, not exactly the warm welcome home Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) may have been expecting, and if the sun hadn’t...

Teen Wolf Review: “Illuminated” (Season 3, Episode 16)
Teen Wolf continued with its Halloween celebration this week on Illuminated and creepy doesn’t even begin to describe where the episode ended up. After last week’s shenanigans with the escaped mentally unstable convict targeting Kira (Arden Cho), the wolf pack still needs to figure out if that was an isolated incident or part of a larger master plan, and preferably before Scott’s father does. But with everything that’s going on, what better time is there to step back from the situation and take a party break?

In an attempt to appear people friendly (something Ethan (Max Carver) figured would be a selling point for them joining the pack), the Omega twins help Danny (Keahu Kahuanui) find a new location for his black light theme party. With the power still off in Beacon Hills thanks to the explosive ending of last week’s episode, finding a place...

Exclusive Teen Wolf Video Interview: The Werewolves of London (Hotel)
We caught up with MTV’s hot, howling young werewolves at The London Hotel in Hollywood just one day after the spooky premiere of "Teen Wolf" Season 3B. (Or is it 4? That’s debatable – check out our exclusive video interview for the lowdown on that.)

Although it was somewhat disappointing that stars Tyler Posey (Scott) and Dylan O’Brien (Stiles) were not very representative of their #1 Google search term (“shirtless”), their lovely co-star Crystal Reed (Allison) made up for it in gorgeous Chanel couture.

The three of them sat down to chat with us – and you – about response to the premiere and what we can expect as the second half of the third season unfurls. (Off camera, Posey promised we’d see a lot more with the newly introduced character Kira [played by Arden Cho], including some Asian-horror influence and samurai sword action.)

In case you missed it after five long months of waiting between Season 3A and 3B,...

Teen Wolf Review: “Anchors” (Season 3, Episode 13)
Teen Wolf is officially back for the second half of season three, and fans can expect a slightly different pace going into it. The focus hasn’t entirely veered away from Miss Blake (Haley Webb) and her super psycho revenge plot against the Alpha pack, but I think we can safely assume that things have come to an end for her character. Kali (Felisha Terrell) may not have finished her off the first time around, but Peter (Ian Bohen) certainly doesn’t believe in leaving any loose ends.

Instead, gears have shifted away from the cause and fast-forwarded toward the effect. Scott (Tyler Posey), Allison (Crystal Reed), and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) are now paying the unfortunate price for being heroes. If Teen Wolf has taught us anything, it’s that death is merely an obstacle. This wasn’t the first time we saw someone on the show cheat it,...
