Joe Keery, of “Stranger Things” fame, has joined the fifth season of FX’s “Fargo,” alongside Lamorne Morris (“New Girl”) and Richa Moorjani (“Never Have I Ever”).

They join previously announced new cast members Juno Temple, Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Keery will play “Gator Tillman,” while Morris will portray “Witt Farr” and Moorjani is “Indira Olmstead.” Further details on their roles were not made available.

Get ready for more colorful cartoon misadventures, as Season 2 of the hit Hulu comedy Woke officially has a release date! Announced during Tuesday’s Hulu Winter TCA slot, the entire 10-episode season will drop on Friday, April 8. Based on real-life artist Keith Knight, Season 1 followed Lamorne Morris’ Keef, a promising cartoonist with an ever-growing popularity. While he typically keeps his work lighthearted, an incident with the police changes his worldview—so much so that his cartoons and everyday objects start to come to life in his head. “Cartoonist Keef Knight is now a popular activist on the rise, but he’s facing a world where ‘woke’ has become big business. Can Keef and his friends bring about real change, or is it just about the dollar$? And can Keef navigate this new world without destroying what he’s become,” states the season’s description. On Tuesday, Hulu took to the Television Critics Association winter press tour and revealed some premiere dates for upcoming shows.

Love, Victor will end with its upcoming third season.

The streaming service announced Love Victor Season 3 will launch with all episodes on June 15.

"This season finds Victor going on a journey of self-discovery -- not only deciding who he wants to be with, but more broadly, who he wants to be," reads the synopsis for the final season.

"With their post-high-school-plans looming, Victor and his friends are faced with a new set of problems that they must work through to make the best choices for their futures."

Love, Victor is a followpup to the 2018 movie, Love, Simon, and stars Michael Cimino, Rachel Hilson, Anthony Turpel, Bebe Wood, Mason Gooding, George Sear, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, James Martinez, Ana Ortiz, Anthony Keyvan, and Ava Capri.

He takes over from Season 1 showrunner Jay Dyer. In his new role, King will work alongside series co-creators Marshall Todd and Keith Knight, with Knight’s life and art serving as the inspiration for the series.

“I am really excited to add Anthony to the team,” Knight said. “He’s written for some great shows, and consistently brings the funny every time. Together with my co-pilots Marshall and Mo, we are cooking up some really neat stuff for Season 2, and we’re looking forward to Anthony’s contributions.”

Hulu is staying Woke. The streamer today handed an eight-episode Season 2 renewal to the hybrid live-action/animated original comedy series inspired by the life of award-winning artist Keith Knight.

Woke takes an absurdist look at identity and culture through the lens of Keef (Lamorne Morris), a Black cartoonist who’s finally on the verge of mainstream success when an unexpected incident changes everything. With a newfound consciousness, Keef must navigate the new voices and ideas challenging him, all without setting fire to everything he’s already built.

The term “Woke” has become so often used in pop culture that it may as well now be parody. But it remains functional, describing an awareness of the social issues that are important to the lives of the marginalized. Any television series can work in a Maga hat joke, or a jocular reference to President Donald J. Trump’s orange tan. But it takes a truly exceptional show to actually present and analyze relevant subject matter while also telling a compelling and entertaining story. But despite its title, Hulu’s new comedy-drama series “Woke” doesn’t entirely satisfy on either count.

Judging by the trailer for Hulu's forthcoming comedy Woke, we're in for a trippy yet potent watch. The show, which drops on Sept. 9, centers on Black cartoonist Keef Knight (Lamorne Morris), the San Franciscan behind a popular comic strip titled Toast -N- Butter. Despite some interpretations of his creations, Keef insists that his work isn't a commentary on race and chooses to "keep it light." However, Keef gains a new outlook after a traumatizing encounter with the police - and by "new outlook," we mean he's able to communicate with inanimate objects that give him a reality check on race.
