David Koepp is an American film director and screenwriter. He is known for writing Mission: Impossible (1996), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), Spider-Man (2002), directed by Sam Raimi, and Panic Room (2002), directed by David Fincher; and the screenplay adaptations of Michael Crichton novels Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), both directed by Steven Spielberg. He also directed Stir of Echoes (1999) and You Should Have Left (2020), both starring Kevin Bacon, as well as Secret Window (2004); all from his own scripts.
