In 1989 Kolbe started a Music Video Production Company - KOLBECO PRODUCTIONS.
The Company was known for Producing Music Videos for Artists: Ice Cube - "Today Was A Good Day", "Really Doe", Cypress Hill, Snoop Dog and many others. Kolbeco's stable of directors consisted of F Gary Gray, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Kim Fields and others. They were known for Producing some of the top music videos in the Rap and R&B music industry.
Marc's Father was a well known TV Director, Winrich "Rick" Kolbe. Rick directed many of the Star Trek episodes for The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager. Ricks career spanned over 30 years in the Industry.
Marc's God-Father was well know Television Actor Dennis Weaver. Dennis had a huge influence on Marc's career and helped guide him in life.
