Ivan Stoyanov Kondov is a Bulgarian film and dramatic actor. He was born on July 18, 1925 in Varna. He graduated from Civil Engineering. In the 45th he entered the studios of Varna Theater, founded by its director Nikola Ikonomov. Ivan Kondov recreated many images of the world and Bulgarian dramas in theaters in Razgrad, Haskovo, Ruse, Burgas and Vratsa. He played on the stages of "Tears and Laughter", Satire, Military and National Theatre in Sofia. He has played everything - from Hamlet to Lenin. In 1973 he graduated from acting, although being long established name in theater circles. In cinema his debut was "On the small island". Ivan Kondov starred in over 40 films, including "Restless Home" and "The Marriage of John Asen," "Poor man's summer", "Barrier", "Big Night bathing," the series "Family Kalinkovi", "Golden Lion" and others. The scene biggest actor won the "Asker" for Lifetime Achievement in 1999. He died on September 8, 2004.
