Véra Korène was born on 17 July 1901 in Bakhmut, Yekaterinoslav Governorate, Russian Empire [now Artemivsk, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine]. She was an actress, known for Café de Paris (1938), Sept hommes, une femme (1936) and La danseuse rouge (1937). She died on 20 November 1996 in Louveciennes, Yvelines, France.
