Netflix today launched the intriguing trailer of its first Tamil film - Paava Kadhaigal directed by Sudha Kongara, Vignesh Shivan, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Vetri Maaran.

The four part anthology takes you on a journey of exploring how love, pride and honour influence human relationships.

The anthology is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and Ashi Dua Sara’s Flying Unicorn Entertainment, and will release exclusively on Netflix across 190 countries on 18 December 2020.

The anthology features a stellar ensemble cast, including Anjali, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Hari, Kalidas Jayaram, Kalki Koechlin, Padam Kumar, Prakash Raj, Sai Pallavi, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and Simran, amongst others.

The much awaited entry of Yash Raj Films into the South is led by the remake of its scintillating and entertaining film, Band Baaja Baaraat, which released in 2010.

Starring the well-known Nani along with debutant Vaani Kapoor (who will also be seen in Yrf's next film, Shuddh Desi Romance, directed by Maneesh Sharma) in lead roles, the film is Directed by Gokul Krishna and produced by Aditya Chopra. The untitled film went on floor end of May and has completed its first schedule in Chennai. The shoot moves to Hyderabad and Mysore for the next schedule starting early July. Padam Kumar, who heads Yrf operation in the South, is the Creative Producer on the project.
